Help!!! In July of 2005, the duplex my boyfriend and I, along with our two small children, were renting caught fire. We were in the dwelling when it caught fire. I was cooking in the kitchen, my b/f in the living room watching T.V. (he was disabled at the time, if that matters), my youngest baby asleep, and my 2 year old son was playing.
I started to smell something burning while I was cooking, and at first, assumed it was the food. Then, my 2 year old son runs into the kitchen, pointing franticaly at my bedroom. I looked in that direction, and the room was lit up. I ran in there and saw my closet going up in 8 ft. flames. There was a hot water heater in this closet, if that matters. I called my b/f, he came in, we tried to beat the flames out with pillows (we were panicked) for maybe a minute. We saw that wasn't working, So, I ran out of the room, grabbed my 2 babies, and ran out of the house and to a neighbor's. Told them to call 911 fast! My b/f ran out less than a minute later,

I'm aware of my mother's controlling tendencies which I think stem from her upbringing being based around a 9-5 existence from ages 16-65 yet I work freelance never any two days the same. Also, my girlfriend split from her husband 7 months ago and whilst I recognise the validity of her comments, I wonder if she's focusing on this in order to avoid issues in her failed mariage. Comments and guidance are most welcome.

Well...this guy I frequent the same gym, and we met a few months ago, and he always flirted with me, he even asked me to call him if I ever wanted to hang out, or go to a movie, but I never did.So a few months ago, and we set some dates, and out plans never went through, so we never got the chance to hook up and plus I stopped going to the gym so I never really ran into him.So I started going back to the gym, a few weeks ago, and when he seen me he was smiling, and he asked me out again, but his uncle/friend passed away...and I verified this so it actually DID happen, and he apologized and we had a long talk, and he told me was sorry, and that he doesnt want me to think he doesn't want to be bothered with me, but that he's trying to get out of financial difficulties and want's he gets this second job "it's on and crackin"lol..so would you say he likes me or pullin my leg?

I am 32 and have a 13yr. old daughter. One thing her father and I have noticed with the kids her age is the lack of parental supervision. We are not overly strict parents. We taught our daughter morals, respect, and values right from the beginning.
But a lot of her friends parents are never home, their children are disrespectful, i.e. throwing their garbage on our lawn when they visit, spitting on our patio.
They run the neighborhood at all ours of the day and night.
Many of them are all ready having sex.
What do you think is the reason for this change in parenting?
How scared are you for the future of these kids?

I have a camera that cost me over $200 dollars and my sister wants to use it but I don't want her to because she might break it and there's no way she can recompensate me for it. She's been bugging me for a week now, and I've told her no repeatedly, but lately it's started to feel wrong... should let her see it? Is it a sin not to share?

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 2 years. At first we had sex all the time, but slowly we have had it less and less and now, not at all. I'm pretty sure he's not cheating on me; and he doesn't have any problems "getting right". I give him oral sex and he'll be rock solid, but he just doesn't want sex. I've asked him why and he used to just say he's tired or something, now he just kinda skates around the question entirely. I've asked him if he doesn't want to be with me and just doesn't want to hurt my feelings and he says that he loves me and he does still want to be with me...so why doesn't he want sex?!?! I seriously want to know what's going on. I haven't gained weight and we still go out and have fun and stuff. People have tried to tell me how to seduce him, but he's kind of old fashioned and thinks most things are just "weird". We're both in our 20s. I just don't understand.

There has been on-going tension between me and my sister-in-law since my marriage to her brother. We all attend the same place of worship, so after service this lady who I had never met came up to me and introduced herself and when she found out that me and my husband had married she immediately asked how the women (meaning sisters in law) were treating me. I told my husband that she wouldn't have said that if she didn't already know that they could be mean and funny acting. I just couldn't understand why in the world would she say that if she was just meeting me.. Was I wrong in my thinking or do you all agree?

My husband was returning from a day business trip and stopped in a Subway to get some food. A young lady (14 at the most) walked up to him and asked him if he would buy her for the night.

My husband almost laughed at the youngster then replied "I am not ready."

She asked "Not ready for what?" He replied "To go to prison" and shooed her away.

Men if a female stranger(Doesn't matter the age) walked up to you and asked you to have sex with her what would you do?

Someone has wronged you, then comes back later with a seemingly heartfelt apology. You choose to accept that apology... you forgive them. Can there still be consequences of the original wrong or would that mean that the forgiveness is not genuine.

Example: If you trusted someone with some personal information, and they did not keep that info to themselves. They violate a trust. Damage done. They apologize, you forgive. If you choose not to share with them again, did you not truly forgive?

Think of this in ways of "cheating" in a relationship, or gossip, or lying or stealing.

Can you forgive these violations of trust and still there be consequences?

My b/f of 2 years father of baby, Has been spending all of his money on himself. He bought a sound system for his car, bought a new car and recently bought $2600 dollar rims. May i add that is so unecessary. Since our baby was born he only bought maybe one or two toy's that we went half on. I hve been buying my baby verything from toys to shoes to clothes to formula..Recently i have been bugging him that we need a car seat and still hasn't payed for it. I went out and bought it myself. I was so mad yesterday that i told him that he is selfish and only thinks about him self...Am i wrong for telling him that? Or should i just let him be?Help?

OK, I just have to ask this question. In the store with my husband, looking at bras. Certain kind I wanted, but had usual boring colors, white, ivory, beige. But they had a real pretty canary yellow one but not my size. I made a comment about wanting that color because it was so pretty. He just couldn't understand why I wanted a "pretty bra" when no one else would see it. I told him it wasn't for anyone else to see, it was for me, so that I would feel pretty underneath. Same with panties.
What is your take on that?
