Today I told one of my teachers a situation that came up...and that is that Im dateing my best friends ex..and asked for advice..and than he was like "Never date your best friends ex" And than during the end of the day...he told to a different class about me......Isent that disrespecting my rights as a student.

The teacher did tell my name to the other students..as well as the girl

Did he tell the other class who you were? If he just said that a student came to him and never told them who you were, then he did nothing wrong since nobody knows who he is talking about. Now if he gave them your name and said that it was you specifically who had this problem, then yes he definitely disrespected you and violated the student/teacher confidentiality.

Well surprise surprise surprise is all I ca n say. So why did you put your trust in a teacher that probably isn't a good one neither. All I can say is if your best friend and his bf split up both are on the open market. The game of life doesn' t come with rules, the only rules it has is made up by stupid people. Those who will always think that the world should revolve around them. And the teacher is a dope too for opening his\or her mouth. How would they liek it if you told them something about the teacher, I bet they wouldn't like it. SO next time keep your thoughts to yourself.

I think as long as he didn't say your name, it's probably okay...but, even so, teachers shouldn't talk about dating and stuff.

That is awful of him. I would tell him that you know he told another class about you. Tell him you had assumed that your conversation was private.

Shame on him.
