It's tough to know whether or not you are in love with someone or simply "In lust and it's become comfortable so you stay" and call it love.
There are things that you have to take into account... such as how long you have been together. If it hasn't been long, it's most likely not love.
Think about how you would feel if something were to happen to them, could you be without them?
You'll love them unconditionally and love them for their faults.
Want to go places with them, have conversations, not just want to touch each other.
usually when you're in love, you'll know it. You just have to think beyond the surface of your relationship with that person and keep your eyes open and not be "blinded by love"

wat is love? is love a strong friendship? Is love sacred? Is love shallow? What's the difference between a crush and love? If you can work out what you think is love, then the rest is easy.
If not, then just notice how you react around them. If you can't talk to them, or they're the only one you can talk to then there is definitely something going on! Also notice how you feel: If they brighten up your day, then things look good. There are also situations where warring parties become entangled. Give it a week and look at all of this.

I don't think you can know straight away, it takes time to get to know a person fully inside out before you can really know if you love them. If you know a person fully & accept all their bad points as well as good & you still feel that you love them then you probably really do. Lots of people mistake lust for love. If you constantly think of them in a sexual way then it's probably more lust but if it's just everything about them that you adore it's probably love! P.S - Thats a hard question to answer!

The strange thing is dear, even though all the signs are there some people let love slip through their fingers. They know its's gone by the hurt they feel when they say goodbye.

On a more serious note though you just know, believe me i used to think how and for 4 years i thought i was in love but now i have met my one true love its sooooo different and i just know he's the one.

if you need to ask us lot on here im guessing your not feeling it!! each person has a different opinion on what love feels like and what one person may think others may not. When you are you will know its just comes naturally. Im in love and its a great great super duper marverlous feeling!!!!!!! even better when the other person feels the same too!!!!!! good luck !

i dunno, i think it's different for everyone. But basically I think it's when you constantly are thinking about that person and that person only, you want to be with them, spend the rest of your life with them, and when it hurts soooooooo much to think of them not returning the love or being with someone else. When you want to protect them, share everything with them and when you just can't think of ways or words to show or describe how much they mean to you. When you can't picture yourself with anyone else, and you're sitting there right now, hurting like hell inside, because they're not there beside you. I think that is love.....

You will feel like you never felt before about anyone and they are the only one you think about and you want to spend all your time with that person and just always want to be around them. They make you feel very special and appreciated!!! Someone you would do anything for......

You miss them as soon as you leave their house. You never get embarrassed around them because they make you feel so comfortable. Every kiss feels like a first kiss. You never get tired of being around them. Your arguments always leave you both feeling sorry and admitting that you both are right. I hope this helps!
