am about to turn 18 this month and i've never been in love !! is there something wrong with me? a lot of guys tell me they have feelings for me.. but i never had feelings 4 anyone.. i hope am not emotionally numb :D lool

When it comes to love there are no rules. Whether you've never been in love at 18 or 35 does not make you abnormal. Most kids your age have been "in love" 5 times during their whole high school career and because of that they lose the value of what it is to truly be in love. Be glad that you're not jumping into relationships when you're sure the feelings aren't true. When it happens you'll have a better chance at knowing that it's love.

I don't think you are emotionally numb.... Think do you hve a lot going on in your life? school? work?...
I didn't actually fall in love till I was 20 years old... This is true love... People have to find the right person to fall in love with... When you are looking for love you will NOT find it... It comes when you least expect it... For some people it takes a while to get to know them before you can truely say that you love someone... I mean love doesn't happen at first sight... You learn and grow with the person and love you come... You have to remember you are only 18 you have a lot on your plate love will find you or you will find it... Don't worry to much about it...

No, your just a little harder to reach than most. It really has more to do with you than the other person though. How far are you capable of opening up, in order to feel such things. Don't worry though, since it rarely works out the first time, you may have invertedly saved yourself some heartbreak and bitterness.

yes its completely normal. im 17 ready to turn 18 next month and i just fell in love for the first and HOPEFULLY last time! its an awesome feeling and it will come for you sooner or later.

Love is a very powerful emotion, one that can profoundly change your life. Many young girls mistake "crushes" for love. You are mature enough to recognize the difference, and I am sure your time will come. And when it does, it will be wonderful!

Well, it's not abnormal.
I'm older than you are and I've never been "In" love. I have loved .......... and I have been loved ..... but I've never been "In" love.
Being "In" love makes it sound like a place. It's not a place. So, how can you be "In" it?
I know it sounds like a picky little word game but it can be very important to know the difference.

Don;t feel that way. Many people don't find love until they are older. Sometimes, it happens. Sometimes it doesn't. Be patient. It will happen when it does. Not a moment earlier, not a moment later.
