Hi guys, I just came here to ask for opinions over my issue. See I am 15 and I want to work as an editor of vogue as I heard they earn alot and get to go to fashion parties and show. So I told my friends that I am willing to give up family and friendship time for wealth and status. They say that even if I achieve my goal I will not be happy . what do you guys think ?

When I started seeing my girlfriend we were polyamourus. Recently she left her other partner and hasn't approached a poly situation for a year now. She has said several time that she wants me all to herself. Now after we haven't been intimate for a few weeks and she just moved into a new home independently she asked me if it was ok to flirt with friends because she "knows" her personality and used Necking (Someone nibbling on her neck) as an example.

I felt that it would be normal in a *poly* relationship that is stable but since we haven't been intimate and her comments prior I am highly offended.

I am very confused and need help with my situation, with a girl.. i have not felt this way in years?
i met this girl that currently has a boyfriend and we have been talking for over 2 months...we both admitted theres something between us but we never took it further than just friends. recently we have stop talking and a lot of words were exchanged. she said that she dont want to take it any further and i cause more stress than help . she works very close to my job and it been over a month since we have spoken to each other, we have not seen each other either . i do talk to other women and im a big flirt but at times but i cant stop thinking about her. i do like her and when i look in her eye i can see there is something there. she told me never to contact her and talk to her ever again but i cant help they way i feel . i have other women wanting to date me and get serious with me ..but again when im with them im thinking of her .what is WRONG WITH ME. what should i do since she told me not to contact her or talk to her ...i have her number and email..should i try calling or email??

I'm really confused and I need help sorting it all out. Last september I started college majoring in pre-med. My grades sucked and I took a semester off. I am going back to college at a different school and I intend to go for secondary education. My question being how do I tell if I changed my career focus out of fear or actual realization that being a doctor isn't what I want? When it comes down to it all i've ever wanted was to help people in my job and now I don't know what to do. I decided not to be a doctor during my time away and I don't know if it was the embarrasment of the bad grades or a genuine realization that I don't want to be a doctor. I've also wanted, at least on some level, to be a teacher ever since I was little. I also like to please people and whenever I told them I was pre-med or I was going to be a doctor; they were proud of me. When I tell these same people that I'm no longer doing so, I get an "oh that's nice" look. How am I supposed to figure this out?

the other day honey and I did something I thought he was really
interested in doing.Now today, two days later he says he never really wanted to. He has said on many occasions that he REALLY wanted to do these things and now he seems like he blames me b/c he said the only reason we went there was b/c he thought I wanted to. I NEVER DID! EVER! i have been dating this girl for about 6 months now. everything we have is awesome. she was a virgin until she met me...well it took 4 months until we had sex...but just everything we do and say is great. here is the catch, she is in college where i have my career which i will never change b/c i have worked too hard to get to where i am at today. she is gone for 14 wks. (summer jobs/internships) this and next year b/c of her college programs that she is in. she has told me once she is done in 2009, she is leaving the city and going to another one where there is a future for her career. so where do i stand here? do i keep going, or do i move? i know i am not leaving this city b/c of my job....but she moves away in may of 2009! as much as i adore her...once she is gone this summer, i think i should look somewhere else. am i right?

About 6 months ago my bf and I split up after 8 years. While we were together he would go out night after night with his friends while I stayed home with our boys. He has a great job and figured he could come and go as long as we were provided for. But so many things happened, I would find numbers,girls photos and even condoms in his car. No matter what happened he had an excuse and I would just go with it.

Not proudly I found comfort in someone else. He listened to me and cared about what I would say or felt, it wasn't a sexual relationship but romantic. I ended things before it got too deep.My bf found out months later.He and I broke up and in this time I started seeing someone, when he found out he was threatening suicide so i went back. I love my boys and could not let them grow up without their Dad. My problem is I don't feel the same. He is very controlling now, he searches my purse and phone and even gets mad if I stay awake if he goes to bed. I love him but I can't do this

My sister wanted to marry this guy who was with her just because of her moeny. Me and my husband talked her out of it because he was a high school drop out, he got fired from every single job he had because he stole money and equipment, he was with multiple women at the same time, etc.

So he is very pi$$ed off at us. The first thing that happened was that he started to threaten us. He said stuff like I'm gonna stab you people or I'm gonna go kill your dad and ...
So we threatened him that we would call the cops. He stopped for a couple of months. Just when we thought it was over for good, my husband gets calls from girls who he doesn't know. I also get calls from men I don't know. They call up and say stuff like I had a great time last night, we should meet again!
Sometimes they call at 3 in the morning!

Anyways I'm living in US and this guy lives in another country. And the calls are from there. I seriously don't know what to do.

Any advice?
