I met my current English boyfriend of six months 13 days after he arrived in the country. We clicked almost instantaniously but he will be leaving the country in two months to finish up his last year of college while I finish up mine. We both want to make it work but I'm worried about the year apart. Any suggestions?

I went out for dinner with my daughter and her fiance looking at me straight in the eyes, (as if waiting to see my reaction), and announced they are going to get married next May. I suspect this man is taking total advantage of my daughter's blind love for him. I also know he is going to make her suffer in the long run, because he is unstable. He has frequent nervous breakdowns and goes to the Emergency Room, at least twice per month, with illnessess that doesn't exist, and since I also knew his first wife, I know he treated her like dirt. I also suspect he is marrying my daughter, because of her good paying carreer. I tried warning her a couple of times in the past, and she always told him, this caused them not coming to my place for almost a month. Now i see my only daughter getting into a situation that will most likely cause her grief. Should I, at the expenses of having them stop coming, tell her how I feel about her boyfriend? What would you do in this situation?

Ok, so here's the situation. My friend and I both like the same guy. He's very handsome and smart. He likes to swim and so do we. The problem is, I can't tell if he likes me or not. Is there something I can do so I can get to know him better that won't seem like I'm coming on too strong? If I don't get to know him soon, my friend will go out with him and she knows I like him. It seems as though she would do this all though I'm her closest friend. I'm very shy and I don't want to ask him out straight up because I would be humiliated in front of the whole school. I'm in a bad relationship, I am estranged from my family, my friends all use me and betray me, I feel like I should just pack up and leave with my kids and start over fresh somewhere where I don't know a soul. Well, this is really difficult as I am married and have a very responsible job. My problem is that I'm in love with someone else. I know I shouldn't be, I know I can't be but I am. I think about her everyday and she is always in my thoughts. I can never tell her how I feel. I cannot tell anyone how I feel. I know I should forget about her and continue with my life, just get on with it. I know I should, but why can't I just let go!!! I love her very much.

me and my bf been together for 2 and hlfs years! we broke up last year for 2 months he left me after saying i was a bunny boiler! but i protest that and alot ppl agree that he was using it as an excuse! 2 months ago he asked me back, i said yes! as we could make a fresh start!

last weekend he admitted to me that he has cheated 3 times on me!... once sex with a girl from college, once a snog with his first love and once foreplay at a party!

i dont like cheat but i admire ppl that can tell the truth! so in return i admitted i had cheated on with his brother!
as a result we decided we were both in the wrong and now all the lies were out we could move on!

today his brother contacted us! his bro told me that my bf will cheat on me at every chance, that he hadnt wanted to cheat more times then he had and is only with me cause no one else wants him! he even told me a time my bf cheated that my bf never told me!!!!

I find it interesting how we define a "life" in America. In America we tend to define a life as the person with the most rat races, most responsibilities, little disposable income and free time. While people who avoid unwanted responsibilities, have lots of disposable income, free-time and live life to his or her own accord we in turn tell those people to "get a life". You go to places like Canada and Europe and they define a life over there as someone who lives life to their own accord and have lots of free-time and disposable income. While once again here in America we tell those people to.....you guessed it.....get a life. I think here in America we get upset and jealous of people who avoid the status quo and still get ahead with half the effort. If so do we as Americans get upset by people who get ahead with no responsibilites (little to no kids, little debt, lots of free-time etc) and tell these people to get a life? Also, how do you define a life?

This is a two part question. I have to keep suggesting things for me and my partner to do, we have been seeing each other for a year now and it's like he is not interested in going out anywhere, he never goes out with his mates and it's ok to snuggle up with him when I come round to his place but sometimes it would be nice if he would suggest that we go out or he take me out, I have asked him why he dosen't ever want to do anything and he just says he dosen't like going out really, don't know if im sounding unfair but he's only 20 and im 24 and most of the time when I get to his we will watch tv and he might occasionally huge and kiss me but does that also mean because he doesn't kiss and huge me often that he is going off me, asked him and he said that he just feels more comfortable in our relationship and we don't need to show each other we love each other all the time?

I hv a frnd who didnt care for me as much as I cared for her. She knows I love talking to her but she always showed me like she is busy and its hard for her to talk to me but still she used to talk and it made me feel like a burden on her.
I was always there in her time of need but I rarely found her when I needed her.
I was hurt by all this so 1 day I told her that its not necessary to talk daily and she agreed after that I stopped texting her suddenly.
Till now she didnt ask me, y? She knows something is wrong but she didnt ask me what? Today she told me that I can text her at anytime and its not a prob for her to talk to me.
There was a time when she used to find difficult talking to me and nw she asked me to msg her whenevr I want to.

i have a 15 year old sister, and she has been secretly dating the guy next door, hes 21 years old. it all started ever since we moved here, last summer, she has changed her attitude, she tends to isolate herself from her family, and everytime she communicates with my parents it usually ends up in arguments. Me being the oldest, i just dont know what to do, i feel ashamed because i catch her doing all these stuff like, sneaking out of the house at 3 a.m and go to the guys house, she has fotos of him and her hidden. she doesnt tell us nothing , but its obvious she has something going on with that guy. and it seems that everytime my parents tell her some advice , she pretends not to listen, shes still seeing that guy, and there is notes that say "i love you" from the guy. the guy just works, he doesnt go to school. iam very concerned about her, i just dont know where this is all going.

I am a married woman, who start having an affair with another woman. It went on for over a year, and during the process the other woman always talked to other women. Now before you get your "doomed to hell" hats out, here's somethings you shoud know. My husband cheated on my numerous times and think my only purpose is to lay down and let him do his duty. Now back to this other woman, recently she began to talk to someone 3hrs away & basically put this girl before me. She stop calling me and basically told me that she had no intentions on us being together anymore. This hurt really bad cuz I put my life on the line to be with her & I was still in love with her. Eventually I moved on and now she is back, telling me she made a mistake and want 2be w/me. Should I take her back considering I never was able to be there for her cuz I was married and with my husband the whole time we were together, or do you think if she left me before, she will leave me again, married or not?
