I met my current English boyfriend of six months 13 days after he arrived in the country. We clicked almost instantaniously but he will be leaving the country in two months to finish up his last year of college while I finish up mine. We both want to make it work but I'm worried about the year apart. Any suggestions?

Try and go visit him a a couple times and have him do the same. A lot can change in a year, if your serious try and see each other as much as possible.

Long distant relationships are extremely hard. Try and see each other and communicate on the phone as much as possible, just don't over do it to where either of you get tired of it, because generally that is what will happen. Just hang in there the best you can. If it were meant to be, it will happen for the both of you.

You know what they say..."Absence makes the heart grow fonder." Actually I consider that a bunch of crap.
But, on the other hand.....you can write to him often; text him daily, and call him during off-peak hours. If you have web-cam, you can at least see each other and talk back and forth.
If it is meant to last, then the time apart will not matter.
There is also another saying...."If you love something, set it free; it it comes back to you, cherish it; f it doesn't...then it was never meant to be."
Does he feel the same way about you?
I hope you both the best of luck!!!
