I'm 22 and love and very comfortable with my body and the fact that I'm a woman. Anyway my mom did my laundry because she wanted to(I'm a college student that lives in the dorms). Well she found a sleeveless vneck shirt that doesn't really show everything and found shirts that show a bit of my cleavage but not much.

I said I'm a woman and I like it. She called me sick and weird. She also said that my breasts are falling out when I wear those shirts it's disgusting.

For one thing my breasts do not fall out, otherwise I wouldn't wear them. I don't wear it for attention, I wear it because I look good in them.

So what's sick and wrong about being a woman?

my brother thinks that my boyfriend and i aren't in love because get angry at each other. I understand that we are both only 16. but never once have we ever yelled or screamed at each other. we always sovle every problem we have by talking to eachother and getting things worked out. does he have the right to judge me relationship? I mean, he's ony 18 and he just now has a girlfriend that he admits he really is only using her. seriously... he has no room to judge me.

I am American and live in Mexico, she is from Nagoya and she studied Latin-American literature up to the degree of doctorate. She now lives in Mexico and is studying a mastery in Mexican literature. I recently asked a different question concerning abuse and was very pleased with the support i got in the answers so i'm going to come out with the whole situation. I'm 16 and have been being abused my whole life, along with the rest of my family by my father. The abuse includes pushing, shoving, hitting, swearing, yelling, calling names. No one has ever been seriously harmed by it but i have been pushed down the stairs once which could have been dangerous. He isn't on any type of drugs, and he isn;t an alcoholic. We live in a good neighbourhood in a good city where no one would expect this type of thing to happen. I have told friends about it but they have a hard time believing me because my dad is very involved and loved by the community. When he isnt in a bad mood he is very nice. My mom doesnt want to accept that what's happening is wrong and i'm afraid to report it because i think the rest of my family will be mad at me and i don't want people to lose respect for us.Wat shud i do?

My ex-fiance and I were together for nine years. His sister and mom became a part of my heart and family; His sister's kids, I helped raise like they were my own. Our split has become too complicated for them: They don't understand why we don't come visit together and they constantly ask about me, which I know is difficult for him and his new gf. I now live in another state and I rarely see them or talk to them; they are never home when I call. His mom and sister contact me once in a great while, but not often enough. I know that it must be difficult for all of them, being in the middle. It doesn't help that he is still very much a part of my heart. It absolutely shatters me to think of letting them go, but I feel I'm being selfish and illogical in trying to maintain contact with them. I'm considering writing a goodbye letter to their mom, in the hopes she can explain it to them better when they are old enough to understand. Any advise?

my boyfriend and i are both in high school. we are in a long-distance relationship. we have been dating for a year and 2 months.we are happy and have never fought-we broke up once, but got back together 3 days after. lol. we are planning on moving in together after high school (and possibly getting married during of after college). I was just wondering if being abused by a parent isnt considered to be as bad as being abused by someone else, like a spouse. I think that i might be being abused by a parent. The abuse includes pushing, shoving, hitting, yelling, swearing and calling names. The most harm it has caused so far is brusing and subtle bleeding and it doesnt go to that extent very often. Is this ok if it is coming from a parent? It's been going on for a while. I'm confused.

Split with my ex wife about 6 years ago.I then had my son every weekend for about 3 1/2 years until oct 2004 when she said he didn't want to come anymore.It all seemed quite convenient as she'd just had a baby with her new partner and they had got a house together.I eventually got to see my son again in oct 2006.He is now 6 years old and i started seeing him at his aunts for an hour or so and gradually increased it to a 2/3 hr visit and then taking him to macdonalds for a couple of hours or wacky warehouse.He came to my house for the day 4 weeks ago and played with my partners kids.Week after he wanted a short visit so we all went to wacky warehouse for an hour and a half.Week after he wanted an hour again so i spoke to ex and said we agreed to alternate short/long visits so we agreed to miss that week and she'd talk to him.This week i've drove down and she said he doesn't want to come.Where do i go from here?

We have some cool things, like 1 high def tv, 3 DVR's, a laptop and 2 desktop computers, MOTO KRZR cell phones, 9 seperate phone lines, 6 ipods total (i hav 3) but we dont go on too many vacations (my mom doesn't geta lot of vacation time) and they often talk about how everything is so expensive.

I have two daughters now through growing up these two fight like cats and dogs. Gave a very bad time. Very unruly young ladies. Oh by the way I was a single mom raising them. Any way the one who is getting married is having a shower and wants her sister to be there. The sister who is to be invited said some rude things about her and has nothing to do with her. But being mom and wanting her children to make mends and for everyone to get together and get along and lets be a family. But somehow things have gotten turned around and they my daughters have ganged up on me. I am confused over this so some harsh words have been said has put me in anger and told them how disrespectful they had always been to me and to each other. I turned to be ugly. Now we are not speaking to each other and I am not sure about giving this shower after making invites and making these calls. I am trying to understand what has happened. And now I want just act non existent have no part of them. Vanish

We have been going out for 6 months but her ex-husband (who she caught cheating on her) is moving to a distant city and has asked if she and their children will go with him. She has said yes. She loves me and I love her. She acknowledges that she will be unhappy with him - but she is going for the sake of the kids - worried they'll hardly ever see their father again. She says she can put a brave face on it so that the children won't see her unhappiness. What can I say to make her see sense that she should not throw away her life.

i'm 16, my sis 19(in uni) but she acts so childish and rude! i'm beginning to think that she has some mental problem or maybe she was like this ever since she was young, i cant remember much. Anyways, everytime i try to advice and comfort her she keeps saying "Dont give me a lecture!" how the hell am i suppose to be there for her when she doesn't appreciate? she bothers a lot and is getting really anoying, living with her... i want her to understand that she has to change and if she doesnt wanna get therapy then the second best thing is her family, but she doesnt understand... i dont give her a lecture, i just say what i think is the best! if not me, then who else.. there is noone that she talks to. Anyone got any tips on what i should do/say? i mean i love her and so do we all but we just dont understand why she has such a bad attitude and she closes up, that's makes it even harder to understand. I want her to realize that i say things because i love and i care, i said that a lot!

Im 17 weeks pregnant and me and my husband just havent had any sex for a couple weeks..the reason being is he gets it when he wants it but when i want it we dont have it so i have been telling him no now that he is asking me.
