okay, my girlfriend goes away every summer. but i get stuck here at home, but she emails me. i don't think it's enough. i know summer vacation is 3 months from now, but i know i'm gonna miss my gf. any tips to get her off my mind or something better?

why not arrange a summer trip somewhere together somewhere special? that way when you're girlfriends away you'll have that to look forward to when she's back :-)
spending time with friends will also help while she's away and making sure she knows how much you love her before she goes and can't wait to see her when she get's back! look forward to seeing her once she's gone away, rather than being sad because she's gone. as the saying goes 'the glass is always half full!'

You don't want to get her off of your mind. All you need is a distraction from missing her. You could try a multitude of different things, a summer job, chat on-line, hang out with your friends, just find something to occupy your time. You could try focusing on planning some kind of special reunion for when she comes home. I've been in your shoes before and the things I suggested are what got me through it. Good luck

If you really like the girl you´ll be able to wait three months for her. Try writing her letters at camp and sending her care packages. She´ll love it and it will make you feel closer to her. Keep a photo near by or ask her to make you a photo collage or scrapbook or your favorite moments. Girls love that kind of stuff and she´ll eat it up.

hang out with ur friends, go to the movies or something. try to get ur mind off her, dont think about her too much, beside it's not like she's never coming back. it's only for a little while. u can wait a little while longer. â¥

People here don't seem to understand you but I do,I love my bf madly and miss him even when he is just locked-up in the bathroom taking a shower,lol,going out doesn't work,nothing works anyway for when the 1 you love isn't around everything is just so dull and boring...
