My fiance and I have a 21 year age difference (Im 27, he is 48). This is the BEST relationship both of us have ever been in and we are planning on getting married next year '07. Everyone is ok with us being together except his kids(they are 31,25,and 22). Any advice on how to get them to accept me? Im not looking for them to love me or anything, just act a little more respectful when they are around. I would be a little weirded out too if my father was dating someone my age, but I wouldnt be disrespectful when I was around them.

hi there, would love some advice on this as its too embarrassing to discuss with friends, have been married a year and a half and am 5 months pregnant, our sex life is good and quite adventurous or at least I thought so,but i recently found porn downloaded on his labtop.....i feel decieved,hurt and inadaquate and look at him differently now...i mean if he was satisifed he wouldnt do this....would he??...is this normal for guys coz i kinda thought only dirty old men or curious teens dabbled in that sort of thing....am i over-reacting?? please help.

I believe that the man I have been dating for the past year is a pathological liar. He can't tell the truth about anything, including his relationship with his ex-wife. In the beginning of our relationship, they were calling each other all the time and although he did not know it, I was tracking his cell phone and knew of each call. I asked him to stop several times and he said he did, well he lied. So I finally called his ex-wife and told her about us and told her to stop calling and it did. Then I caught him is other lies. Small lies but lies none the less. The wierd thing about each adn every lie is when I would tell him about it, he never accepted responsibility. He would just sit there like a little child. Over time, the lies have pretty much stopped because he has seen the error of his ways so he says. He has asked me to marry him and I don't know what to do. Based on the above, I don't trust him, but do I give him the chance?

I know a women that walked away from her children and had no cummnication with them or their caregiver. She was always a good mother to the 1st kid, but when the 2nd one was born she changed drastically. The mother did not use drugs, yet she did have some issues. I've always felt that she was emotionally unstable at times, but not to the point of being violent to children. I still after all these years wonder what could she have been thinking when she thought of her kids. She's still a bad mother right now. I would love to help her make peace with God and her children. I pray for her soul......Love ya sis

Do you find they are easily misunderstood and have you found you have inadvertantly offended people without meaning to just because emails can come across as blunt? Or do you think that if they come across as rude it is because the person writing them is rude?

I personally think that if a person is going to be rude, then don't bother replying just so you can earn some points. I know alot of people like to ask questions merely for curiosity and people can just be so rude. I mean get a life and don't waste my time reading it. I know that there are people who like to follow questions around just to gain some points and I think that is pathetic. I mean haven't you heard the saying if you haven't anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?!

Okay, so my brother and I don't talk. I have recently tried to reach out to him to no avail, however he has a son who will be 6 in February that I want to get a Christmas gift for. Is it inappropriate to buy him a bike and helmet? I don't want my brother to be offended by the gesture.

know this is wrong but I still love her. They've set me up with good looking friends of hers but I can't get into anyone else. Last night they had me for dinner with a friend of hers and before we left we were doing dishes and I told her how I felt. She told me she didn't think we should speak to each other anymore and she was sorry. I don't know what to do. I have to see him at work on Monday, but what's worse is how am I going to get over this woman?

Up until last week my son's father and I were working on a relationship even though he admitted to sleeping with another woman. I forgave him. Him got locked up last week for something that was not correct in the system and that woman bailed him out. I can't do it because I live in another state and we had plans to visit for the holidays. When he kept telling her about me and his son, she got tired of hearing it cuz she wants him for herself. Hhe told him that we should get back together since thats all he talks about and he said he would. After that, she tells him she's pregnant and since he lost his place she moves in with him at the motel and is paying the bills. He works but his money is tied up with restituion and bills. Mind you my son is 9 and has not seen any support cuz he's been locked up most of his son's life off and on. This woman has bad feelings for me and told him she don't like me and she's tired of hearing about our son.I'm selfish cuz I don't want him around her?

I had this really great date last night with this guy. He was really nice and a lot of fun. when we were walking back to his car he leaned over and kissed me. I was ok with this because I wanted to kiss him except for one thing he was a really bad kisser. When we drove back to my car he kissed me again stil really bad. I really like the guy and would never dismiss someone because they can't kiss but I've never really experienced kissing like last night. It was bad I guess I should be more blunt he didn't use his tongue at all it was more like mouth to mouth resesitation. Ok I really want to go out with him again because I really like him but what do you do about this kind of kissing? Can it be fixed? Will it mean that he will be bad at other things eventually?

Earlier I asked about my relationship with my son's father and he has issues because he's recently homeless and has shacked up with another woman he says he's using for money cuz she's putting him up in a sleazy motel. She's also staying with him but she has a home. I know that i should be getting over him and decided to seek meetings out to attend for support. But he wants to see his son and I say he can't cuz the woman he's with is trying to trap him with a pregnancy herself and she's 46 shacked up in a motel in virginia beach(possibly the Sundial) if anyone knows it . His mother is around the same age and he is 30! I really know he can't see our son if he's with that woman cuz he says she was sick of hearing about him talk about me and his son so I know she has ill feelings toward my son. He is 9 now and his dad has been in and out of lock up most of his life. We tried to make a go of this but he had to beresponsble and get a place and hold his job. Am I wrong for this?

I have been with my man for almost 5 years and have been engaged for almost 3 years. Our relationship has hit the rocks these past few months. We argue all the time and I am no longer happy, but I love him so much. My problem is that he is not pulling his weight around. He doesn't take work seriously, he has had more jobs this year than I can remember,he calls in sick when he isn't. He hardly helps me w/ any chores. He never does anything sweet,like cook dinner or anything! I work 60 + hours a week and I have nothing to show for it! I can't afford anything b/c I am dumb and support his weed smoking habit (which I will NO LONGER DO as of TODAY). I have to get cash advances just to make sure the rent is paid (for his half). he has to borrow $ from his mom to make his car payment, I mean it does not end. All I want for him to do is be more responsible, but everytime I try 2 talk 2 him he makes me out to be the "bad person”he says I just don't love him for him...not true! Help me!!!
