Im supposed to be a senior but it look like I have about a year left. My parents have always said they would pay for school. But im under so much pressure all the time. They make me miserable because its always, so when are you done, take as many hours as possible, hurry hurry hurry! And I cant take it. Ive dropped alot of classes and changed my major a few times because honestly I dont know what the hell I am doing. But its my life. Im the one in college. And its wonderful that they pay but Id rather them not pay and leave me alone than be miserable and always be under so much pressure. They tell me im throwing their money away, I have 100 hours, how is that throwing away anything? I want to work at my own pace. But they wont let me do that, and they wont co-sign so I can take out loans for myself. And thats the only way to get student loans is to have a co-signer. And I dont have anyone to do that for me. What do I do?

This is to all my happy couples what makes you happy about your mate and what wouldn't you do for your mate? How long have yall been together and when did you fall in love with him or her? do you feel as if this is really real and do you want it to last for a life time? The reason Im asking this is because older people always say that young people starting at 15 don't know what true love is but i wana prove them wrong because i think thats where it all starts when your young.

They are not really hurting "MOM", but the CHILD.
I have seen men date and live with women that have kids by someother man. Taking care of the kids that are not his. Running down the kids deadbeat dads. But He is doing the exact same thing. Refusing to be in "THEIR OWN" kids lifes.

I am an older woman in her forty's. Unfortunately hook'd on my best friend a guy for five years. Sounds crazy I know. We lived together twice once for nine months and once for a year. He means everything to me. We had been intimate but he decided we should only be friends. We have a very sincere friendship he would never iontentionaly hurt me. I never have more fun than when I am with him. He has never kiss'd me he says he can't because it would mean he was serious but yet I have seen him with other women which he is all over. we had a lil scare this week. kitchen kinda started on fire a little. and my wife just went nto a panic and tells me to start gettin valuables out of the house. so i nthe first trip i took one of our chidren and my case of bud light. and she just lost it.....cuz we gots two more kids too i guess. but only got two hands. and she could hav gotten them.....is she wacked or somethin???

I been with my bf for 10 yrs...cheated this year. I think I got a minor STD...I'm afraid to tell him. I am getting treated and will stop having sex for a week...I dunno what to do! my bf is black and my parents are extremely racist and unapproving...i tried talking to them about this in a civilized manner but things only grew worse and they definitively decided that if i continue to date him, they wont finance my college education...
what should i do should i:

a) continue to see him and keep it a secret

b) tel my parents to go f*** themeselves and continue to see him and take out loans from the bank (i would need to look for loans that arent need-based) for college (which would be around 40 k a year....yes...my college is very expensive lol)

c) go along with my parents rules for the meantime (since i am living with them) until i get to college...

i really want to go with a) but i kno that that would be extremly unfair for him since he has told his whole family about me...and he doesnt deserve and wouldnt like to be kept a secret...i dono....b) also sounds VERY appealing but how the hell am i gona be able to pay all those loans back? i dono....

I have a 9 yr old daughter, who has a very best friend. Her friend is also 9yrs old, and lives out in the country. It is a long walk from the school. I picked my daughter up, and it was already getting dark, and lashing with rain. Her friend said goodbye, at my car, and i asked if she was being picked up. She said no, her mum told her to walk home, will do her good!! The little girl said she gets terrified on the country lanes, when alone. I obviously gave the poor girl a lift to her door, and her mum was in, car parked outside!!
Is it just me? I think this is awful, she is vulnerable at 9yrs old, too young to walk all alone, in remote places, in the dark.

What happened was I was assigned as the french fry person. Well half way thru my shift my supervisor tells me to mop the floor. I told him "I've been here for three days now. With my seniority I don't wash floors anymore". He told me to wash the floor or I'm fired. So I put him thru the wall. First, why did I get fired, he started it?
