They are going to have a baby and I can't imagine the bacteria. I mean they climb over the "clean" dishes in the drainer and sit on the kitchen table. YUK

Would it be better to have my husband say something?

I kind of thought it was none of my business too, but neither of them were raised by moms and I really love them. If there wasn't a little one on the way I would just but out for sure.

I think you should say it just like you said it here. Don't come at them like you are superior or anything, just let them know you are concerned. I have a cat that wants to do that but I have a squirt bottle and I squirt him every time and he is finally getting it. Just be aware that it is their house and you have to respect their decisions on how they run their house. Have a wonderful holiday season.

Just say it like you just did and that the cat is in the litter box then walks on the table its not healthy.
Tell them to fill a squirt bottle and squirt the cat every time they see it on the table and countertops. The cat will eventually learn its not wanted up there.

Actually, unless they are living at your house, it's none of your business. I think it would be best to shut up and just plan not to eat there. Warn everyone if they bring a dish to a potluck.
