Don't mind the avatar or name, this is my wife's account. I am writing because I am the youngest of four children, who have left to take care of my mom. She livesalone.

The other three siblings fell out with me and my mom, for differing reasons. I am married, work full time as well as study, so making time for my mom is not easy.

It's even harder when she refuses or is unable to do things to help herself. She is 66 (but does'nt look it) she is generally healthy although won't go out the house alone, relying on me to meet her, take her to teh shops and anywhere else.

She retired five years ago, but has'nt had a retirment plan, any ideas I put to her, she rejects, because she wants to be taken around be car, because she claims she has agorophobia but I don't think that's it.

It's hard when she won't listen. She goes through periods of not calling me at all, not answering the phone, locking her door and not letting me in to calling loads of times, usually at the most busy times. help

My boyfriend has told my little sister that he has £3,000 stashed away in his bank account.

I only found out about this today when I spoke to my Mum. He lied and his explanation is that (and I quote) "This is how I test people..."

For reasons unknown to me, he has a problem with my little sister.

Obviously, there is more to the story than this, but I need to let off some steam about a few things that are bothering me about him and our relationship in general...

1) We've been together for nearly a year and he still hasn't told his family about me. When I pull him up about this he says he daren't tell his Mum in particular about me because she has hold of about £1,500 of his money and that she won't give it to him if she knows about me. He's 31 years old, I think I should add. Shouldn't I be more important than this £1,500?

2) He begs me to come back to his flat whenever I try to stay away for the night and when I do come back, he spends most of his time texting people...

truck I get a little jealous. Our SUV is a little dated and they just bought a really nice Cadillac with all the bells and whistles. I am thinking that we should get a Hummer just to out-do them. Does anyone else have conflict trying to keep up with the Joneses? How can I keep myself from turning into the "green-eyed monster" everytime and over something so ridiculous?

I have a couple of friends who cut their gums and claim that the feeling of bleeding gum is similar to orgasm, or they tend to brush their gums really hard in order to make them bleed. Sounds weird, doesn't it!! I would like to find out if someone heard about sth similar?

I move out on the 22nd of december and I showed a girl round on the first who said she will take the room and she paid the deposit to me. I told her two of my housemates are moving out and she rang this morning saying she doesnt want to move in now, her mother then rang me and i said look i need to find out my rights and she said she would send some guys round to collect the money, what are my rights? also she never signed a tennancy agreement as she was going to do that this week......and there is no formal paper work to say she paid the deposit??

I know someone who had had enough of their kids cat messing all over the house so he took it to the vet or something and had it destroyed only to get home and find their cat sat on the mat, It turns out he had one of his neighbours cats destroyed by mistake.

My B/F of 18yrs has reached 52 and has had inflamation of his prostrate 2 times now he is having a problem getting it up, NO MATTER WHAT I DO. I have done things that I have never done before(like dance,Strip) And it is now imbarrasing for me & him. I feel like a fool. before 16 years my mother and my grandfather forced me to drink pills. I did not wanted and I runaway from home but stoped here, where is not Internet cafee and then was only a field. Maybe I should not trusted my mother and maybe it would be better if I never returned home?
Since that I have experienced many more dissapointments. Maybe it would be better to go somewhere . . .somewhere faraway...

ok i know this probably isnt in the right category. but ok heres the deal. im 17 and have a 3 month old baby. the father and i are no longer together but he tries to be "involved" but he doesnt give money or anything to help out. and i even think the only reason he comes over is to try and patch things up with me because he hardly holds the baby or plays with him. My mom and i can no longer afford living here (we're in CA) so we're planning on moving to Arizona. and i think this is a good idea also because i dont wanna be around the father and i dont think raising my baby with that family is a good idea because 1)the babys grandfather beats up his son 2)theres history of sexual abuse and nothing was done about it & 3) theyre just not good people.
so my question is could he take the baby away from me if i end up leaving? because his parents are those type of people that brain wash him into getting a lawyer and all this junk. and also is there anything I can do so he wont take the baby?

I moved to Canada 3 months ago - to start university here... and I am so lonely here. I miss my home, my family and my friends. Back home, I used to have many friends and people knew me - I was important. University is a lot less fun than I expected it to be. I am not doing well academically, I cannot relate to my 'friends' over here, and I find myself almost running back to my room everyday, so that I can hide from the world. I find myself taking the less crowded route to class everyday, even though it is a longer route- just so that I dont have to face people 'looking at me'. I cry everyday. I feel like such a failure here and I don't want to tell my mother that I want to go back home because of financial constraints - she has spent a lot of money to send me here and go through the whole immigration process. Not to mention having to explain to aunts and uncles why I am back. Plus I would have wasted my time here. No, I dont want to go back. But I don't know what to do. Suggestions?
