I dont understand why you would give a gift to someone you hate, Maybe forgiveness and a renewed friendship..it is the holidays you know..

The total opposite of what they expect!
When they don't say hi, you persue them with a smile and a warm "hello"...
When they ignore you, you deliberately go out of your way to ask them how they are doing.
When they don't expect a gift, you give them something they'd really like, with a simple note - just your name.
Going out of your way to be nice to someone you hate will p*ss them off so far they'll either change their attitude toward you or MOVE - either way, you'll win...lol...

I once gave someone an Escargot Kit ($10) because they are slimy and low to the ground.... much like the person I had to buy something for.

That does not mean you need them in your life, but whoever it is and whatever they are doing, they are doing the best they know how. Let go of your hate, it will not help. Bless them and release them (I am not saying I don't have trouble doing this myself -- I do!)

Dont give them any kind of food if its someone you are enemies with because they will suspect that it is poisoned. A Christmas Card would do.

Give him doses of kindness.
Many times people turn themselves around, if you are kind to them long enough.
It is hard to do, but will have a big payoff.

Donate a some of money to YOUR favorite charity in their name.and give them a card --saying you did so...
