Explain to the mom that while you don't mind helping out with driving the kid every once in a while, it is making you late for school, and unlike high school, the professors aren't as forgiving. Explain that you wouldn't mind doing it every once in a great while, but doing it everyday is a problem. Try recommending the idea of a carpool to her (you know like the kid gets a ride from one of his friend's parents.) and if that doesn't work you might just have to tell her you can't help her anymore.

Since your burdening yourself with being a chauffeur, why not get paid for it? If not, then tell her your situation and see if there is another route be it a bus pass, biking, friends who drive or what have you. You have no obligation here do you? Get paid or get moving to a resolving this into a solution. Stress is daily, don't get more than you need or can deal with. She cooks right? Get some food or some type of comepensation for time bro'! And far is not something I comprehend.... two miles, twenty miles? What exactly is far? 15min, 45min.... what is far?

I would explain to her that if we were in the same school it wouldn't be a problem. But you are not and you want be able to do this anymore. Be honest she will respect you. People will let you do everything for them until you stand up and say something. and it is your right to say no sorry i cant do this.

Tell her just that. His school is too far to continue to do this everyday. You don't mind once in awhile, but you can't do it all the time. Why can't he take the bus to school like everyone else?

Just come out and say I just did for a favor a couple of times but now I just cant..Just come out with it. Stand up to her with out blinking an eye. Eye to eye contact always gets the message out.

Tell his mom that you can't be taking him to school everyday. That's her responsibility. Do it in a polite manner though.
