It's a technique based on wordplay. lots of magicians like Derren Brown use it to manipulate people. Google him and see some examples of how he uses it in his magic

Neuro Linguistic Programming..................the programming is a bit of a misnomer. It isn't about that but more about understanding how people 'tick' and making the best advantage of it.
