I seem to never be able to finish any task I started but to my surprise i will be graduating medical school but I really dont want to follow with it as well. I dont like to follow through with any of my relationships, hobbies, shool etc. What should I do and why? Im trying to

I was in a relationship with a man for 4 1/2 years. He was abusive mentally and physically and he was an alcoholic. About 1 year ago I left him and filed a restraining order against him. He got a 4th offense drunk driving and for over 10 months he has quit drinking and thinks we should try to get back together. Well the problem is there are so many bad memories and when I left him his family protected him and I was the evil one. None of them will talk to me anymore and I didn't do anything wrong. My kids and my co-workers are totally against us getting back together, but I still care about him deeply. I remember the good times when he wasn't drinking and I believe people can change. My concern is I've wasted 5 years of my life and now wonder if I would be wasting more time if I went back to him. I'm so confused and maybe some advice is needed. What should I do give it a shot or completely call it quits.

I have been with my partner for 2 1/2 years. She has a 5 year old daughter from a previous relationship. We moved away from her family two years ago and moved into a nice area & everything seemed to be going well. Her daughter started school and we were really getting on as a family and planned to get married next year. About 3 months ago she decided that she missed her family and so she took her daughter out of school and moved them both back in with her mother. Her daughter has now started at a new school but seems to be having a few problems settling, which under the circumstances, is unsuprising. She has asked me to move to the area so that we can set up home nearer to her family but I really don't know what to do for the best. All of this has already been unsettling for her daugher and I don't want to create any further confusion. I love them both very much and I do consider the little girl as my own. I can give them a good life but my partner is being very impulsive of late...

i met my soon to be ex wife in 2000.she was living on her own in her own place next to a friend i was staying with.she had a 2 year old daughter with a man who was in prison,i had a 2 year old daughter from a previous relationship.we lived together for a few years and got married in 2oo2.we moved out of her place and moved into a apartment next to her sister.things were good,besides the occuial bickering.she stated alot she wasnt happy.she compained about my drinking and blamed it on that.i cut down but got very rezentiful for trying to change me.this was how she met me.she liked to drink too but she was more and still is a pot smoker.i was a 3 a night beer drinker.in 2004 we had a daughter,claims she thought it would bring us closer?a year later,i came home to a empty home.a year later try again,found out she was living with the ex that got out of prison.she claims he broke it off with her.she leeaves me again and is now with some new guy.who has custody of his 10yr old son.wtf?

My sister in laws husband has just been sentenced for a crime he says he did not commit, hes now on the sex offenders list and has told my sister in law he will be allowed to live with her and the kids when hes released from prison, is this true ?

I really want to change..and for myself. I've always been so locked up and not socialising and so boring and i really wanna change i want to be different. I want to start being exciting and nice and girlie i've had enough of myself. I'm always bored. I wanna brake the rules and do crazy stuff. How can i change? How can i get close to people? me and my boyfriend has been going out for three months now but we broken up because over the weekend he invited me to him & his roomate apartment but i told him no. I suggested that he come over on campus at my school & he said no!! because he hated my school so i kept asking him to come more then 20 times. i even broke out into tears. he just kept saying no. so i got really mad i told him to never call me again. everysince that night he have not called me. i have been sending him text messageing saying im sorry and i have been calling him back to back. its like i cant stop thinking about him i miss him. tears come to my eyes when i think of him. and i still where his ring that has his name on it. i want to get over him like he has already gotten over me.please help me please tell me what should i do?

staying at my sisters house for the week looking after her house and pets for her.. i've really missed my daughter but as soon as they pulled up from the airport she rushed in said quick mum i've missed nan and rushed me straight out the door i didn't get chance to ask how the holiday was or anything and then as soon as we got to her nans she was straight on the phone to her mates and then straight out the door to see them.. do i ahve a right to be upset and hurt by this

My co-worker is engaged to be married. They have been together for close to six years. No problems and very much in love. Her fiance's sister still lives in the small town in which they grew up. Now here's where it starts. His sister has not once or twice, but 5 times given his number out to girls that he use to date. My co-worker would like to know what would be the proper way to tell the sister (for a third time) to stop giving out his phone number. She has discussed this with him and he agreed that this needs to be delt with. However he's been the one to talk to her about the last few times. (Obviously that didn't work.) I've given her my 2 cents so let's see what kind of advice the people of Yahoo Answers have for her.
