Marriage & Divorce - 24 November 2007

I have a stressed marriage, but for the sake of kids we don't want to separate. A sweetheart in office in the same situation. We soothe eachother, but we don't cross the line -- stop just short of getting sexual. It gives us both a lot of happiness though one wishes for more. But is it okay? Or am I completely crazy and running away from reality?

I did, for years, I probably know more than your whole family plus your cousins thrice removed. It didn't help me a bit. I am so very damn poor and struggle with my bills.
On the other hand, there are pretty blond bimbos, who do nothing, just marry. One I knew worked as a seller on some street stall, selling chewing gum. Then she married a rich man, and they spread around that she was a synch translator for a rich man who she married (it's a very high paid job and need a lot of qualifications, at least a university diploma), and she now command a stuff of three (a cook, a maid, a nanny), shops and pose for photos. Why do women even bother to try, if at the end it comes to looks?

My husband and I continue to go through our ups and downs. I have 2 children b4 him and 3 with him. I do not recieve c/s from the first father. My husband has supported me since I became pregnant w/ our 1st. I went to school a few times for some quick certificates but have not had to work. I feel like such a burden on him and he always says he don't care about n-ething n-emore. I asked him last night what was it that he loved about me, and what made him come home to me everytime....he didnt give me a answer. he said that he supprts me and that shows his love right there.
We have gone through this so many times, I have 5 kids and I cant handle the way he makes me feel. I take it out on my kids and things have just gone from bad to worse in the past year. Can I make it on my own? Or am I forced to accept this life? I see the black clouds comeing.
How do you start over with 5 young children? (my oldest is 8)

Wondering how many woman out here who are married would work on their marriage after they got hit in the face by there husbands FIST!.
He punched me int he face, I have a fat upper lip and a black eye, I didn't call the police cause I really don't want him in jail he was drunk AGIAN.....we go through this crap every weekend yet this is the first time he has his put his hands on me , I had to call the x to come and get my 7 year old son so he would not be a part of the event. he ended up staying at his parents house since there out of town for the weekend should I say get your stuff and a lawyer and get out or get sober and we are getting help? We have only been married four months, been together a year and he has never showed any signs of this before, he was going to AA however that stopped when they said he was off probation and now he has been drinking more than ever before and refuses to go to AA. What can I do?

We are going out horse back riding with my ex a girl I introduced my ex to through a business deal and our daughter and this other womans kids. I am a little nervous about this...does anyone else find this strange? My husband really wants to go and is looking forward to it.....he actually pushed for us to go.
