Marriage & Divorce - 30 June 2006

If two people are perfect for one another besides the fact that they disagree on when they should get married, can they really be right for each other? We have been together for a long time and have both said that we want to spend the rest of our lives together. He feels like we should still wait (he's 24 and I'm 22). I think that if we already both know that we want to marry each other, there is no reason to wait. So, do I wait for him to be ready and put my own feelings aside or does this mean that we really aren't meant for each other?

Ok I made a huge mistake a few years ago I had an affair with my husband's close friend (we were not married then, but were together) . I never told my husband and I regret it, it was a terrible thing to do. The problem is, I have grown to hate the guy I had an affair with because he used me and betrayed his friend. I know its kind of hypocritical but I can't stand the way my husband likes and trusts this guy, I feel like just telling the truth because I want this guy out of our lives, I can't stand the sight of him!!! What should I do? You can be as nasty as you want about me, I deserve it, I just want to know what to do next.

Why do i feel like my husband deserves better than me? He tells me daily that i am perfect in every way and that i am forever his. He works 6 days a week and thats not counting the time at home he works. He provides for me and his daughter to the fullest. We never go without anything. He does so much i feel like i dont do enough. I mean i keep the house clean and laundry done and the dinner on the table. I d love to be able to work and help with the bills but he said he doesnt want me to work.He tells me i am awesome. What am i doing that is so good. I feel like i am inadequate in the relationship. Any ideas? Is there more i could be doing.. he says i please him in every way possible. I dont feel like i give enough...what do u think? Thank you please b serious; )

this woman is going round saying i treatened to kill her and her children.she convinced my ex that i have a serious mental health problems "like sharon stone in basic intint". i admit whilst in the middle of a row with my husband over money i did say i would kill the b***h but in anger the police visited me who adviced me to stay away which i have. a week ago she apparently reported me to the police again for treatening the children, which i did not do and hence i hve had no visit from the police.she has also said that a freindship i had with a pc last year i persued him and apparently was warned of by the police. in reality though it was decided that it was not a good idea to get involved he still speaks if we see eac other in the street. please help i'm begging to think perhaps i am mentally ill despite my gp saying i'm not!

My husband cheated on me while he was at a 10-week-long school 2000 miles away from home. He swears they were just friends. But she was a secret--he never told me about her. Then one night he goes to her room to watch a movie--she comes on to him and they have sex. Just penis in vagina. Then they continue to be just friends and a couple weeks later, a group of them went to the big city to go bar hopping, between 5 guys and this one girl there were 2 hotel rooms. My husband asked me to pose this question since I "value the opinions of this forum so much". Anyway, I have not had a chance to change my last name yet, even though I have tried. He has told me that he has closed the joint checking account that he has with his ex-wife, and just yesterday, I found out that it is still open. He assures me that it is just there for his car insurance and that she would never go into his account and take his money. She does not work, but yet he tells me that it needs to stay open so that she can send money for their son who we have custody of. She has never done this. As a matter of fact, he is the one who sent her 300 from his income tax, even though we get nothing from her for their son. He is arguing with me because I want him to close it, telling me that keeping this account open is no different than me not changing my last name to his. Which is worse?

When he first came to ask me if I minded, I told him, not as long as he doesn't need the Suburban that I drive to go. His truck is too small to tow the boat...so he siad no he wouldnt need it. So now, he isn't even taking his boat, he is taking his friends new one, and his friend wants to tow it out there with his won truck...so there really isn't a need for my truck...(yes I call it mine, he has his..) Well, now he is all PO'd over me calling it my truck and telling him no that he can't take it. We have 4 kids, and if he takes my truck then I'll be at the house stranded for 3 days..and he says its cuz he doesnt want to smash three men in a single cab. He says I'm being selfish...if I am, OK, then I want to hear it from y'all.. Also, I would like to go out with one of the other guys wives, and my husband automatically assumes I'm going out lookin for guys..when in fact, I'd just like a little fun...if he can I can too right? BTW..he is going to a major hook up spot

In most of pricple of relationship, people will say communication is important and the best communicator is western partners... but why divorce at West is more than East ( especially Asia ) that didnot have a great communication with their partner? I have physical custody of my two daughters. My ex gets them every other weekend. It is his weekend and he told me last night that he isn't going to bring them back until he d*** well feels like it. We have been divorced for 3 years and the whole time he has made threats and he constantly harasses me - calling me names and yelling at me - you name it.
Anyway - he refuses to talk to me about his visitation and will not agree to bringing them back until he feels like it. I
I called my attorney and the local sheriffs office and they told me there is nothing that they can do... that I would have to take him back to court.
And that if I refuse him his visition and we go to court that it will make me look bad.....
So what the h***????? He can just kidnap my kids and not bring them back and there is nothing I can do???
So do I let him take them and take it as an empty threat????
Or do I keep them from him until he can fix his behavior and let him take me back to court?????????
