What would you do if your fiance's ex is bestfriends with his sister?

I am having a hard time getting close to my fiance's siter because it makes me feel like she do not like me or care about me since she is still best friends with my fiance's ex.

I mean part of it is jealousy that I wish we are the close one and that we can be good friends too but part of it is that it makes me feel that she don't like me and that deep inside she hopes for my them to be back. It is a confusing situation. I don't know what to do sometimes, since she likes to bring her around family events and it really makes everything uncomfortable for me and my fiance.

What should I do? Avoid family events if I know she will be there? I have tried telling my fiance the problem but his response is different. He said he will not miss a family event just because his ex is there. What about me? I feel really out of place sometimes when she is around because they all have known each other for years before.

I am not sure how much the item cost but i bet it was over $100. He isnt a bad guy he is just 18 and still going through the wild stage. I know it is not cool, but I dont think he deserves a criminal record for this. What should he do? he has a court date coming up. any story he can tell the judge or write the manager an apology letter may help. or do free work for them or something??? I dont know. Please help.

What is the best response to people who critiscise all the time...
i find that alot of my friends and family find it easy to criticise me...
if there is any weakness in my life, they take the chance to have a niggle!
and i find it annoying and irritating and unjustified...
it is usually the case that they prefer to poke at my life instead of dealing with their own issues!
What could i say to stop someone in their tracks when they are criticising me without telling them to get lost, or upsetting them?

Im in 7th grade about 5"3 or 5"4 and Im about 130-137 lbs. Im not FAT but im CHUBBY. I ahve never had a boyfriend and I'm almost 12 in the sixth grade. Will I ever get married or have a boyfriend? I do have to admit I am very pretty, its just my weight! I have tried to loose it but it's so hard for me! I'm really scared about not getting a boyfriend or not getting married becuase of this. I have ALOT of guy friends who I'm BFFs with. But none of them like me that way... what am I to do?!?! I have a dance on the thirtieth and I remember last year at the sixth grade sock hop I felt like I was the prettiest one there and I think my guy friend (who I secretly have a crush on) thought so to !!! he smokes, does drugs, takes weight loss pills-even though hes skinny enough.
he keeps telling me its cause he got caught up with the wrong crowd.
i have told him many times i do not like the fact he does all this ****. i told him i dont want to see him die. but he keeps talkign about all of this stuff.
THEN he tells me he sold some pills he bought, because i told him not to take them, and now he said his dad found them yesterday.
so nows hes lying to me about it.
i told him that he can do whatever he wants, just dont talk to me about it, because it just makes me upset.
he then went on talking like nothing happened. so i told him i was pissed off about this stil, so now he wont talk to me.
this is really pissing me off.
what should i do?

im a shy person.. and i have friends but i need more self- confidence.... im really afraid cause i will start high school soon and i want to make friends... last summer i went to this program in which we took care of kindergarten kids and i was really hoping that it would help me.. but instead i embarrassed myself cause i was the person sitting alone in the corner... usually i wait for people to talk 2 me first which is kind of a problem.. and when i did start to talk to the ppl there the next day i would do the same thing and wait for them to talk to me first... if i were someone else i would think that i was wierd lol... and im always afrad that ppl will play nice in front of me and then talk about me behind my back :(... but the over all thing i want to know is how will i gain some confidence so i can make new friends when i start high school?... plz help... thx.

I dont know how this started but one of my best friends suddenly just turned on me. Ever since I made lots of new friends my old friend somehow STEALS(yes steals) all my friends away from me and is making them TURN ON ME! I mean TURN ON ME!they dont talk to me anymore,hang out with me or anything anymore. They also just p*ss me off so much by saying they hate people who use money to get what they want but i really think thats the reason they like this person because their family is rich and they buy ALL the new clothes,shoes and video game consoles so how can i deal with this friend!I CANT ignore it because if i try and do something i lose all my friends and im in the time in my life where im starting high school so i dont want to be alone or anything!

Ok, I have a ffriend whom I've known and loved for over 10 years. We have been especially close in the past 6 years. Around the first of the year I was really concerned about my friend b/c she was very depressed. She started to act happier in some ways in April, but she was also acting irratically and distancing herself from other friends and family. After a very out of character attack on me, my husband confided that he knew they had started using crystal-meth a few months earlier and my other friend (who is family to the first) was absolutely convinced of drugs b/c of other behaviors and gossip within the family. Now, my friend will not answer my calls and I've heard has called me a rumor starter for talking to anyone about it. I miss my friend, and don't understand why I'm the bad guy for finding out the big bad secret. I want to get our friendship back on track but don't know how to approach her. I don't want to loose a 10 yr. friendship like this.

Is it true that Smt. indira Gandhi's husband's name was Feroz Khan & Indira was married to him secretly through love affair, changed her religion & converted to Islam & had a new Islamic name too. What was that ? I have a buddy whose girlfriend and other roommate left the apartment at the same time and now the rent is on him. I was wondering if anyone out there knew how i could help him out. I personally do not have the money and am doing what i can to help. Does anyone know of any labs that pay to be a ginuea pig or any other programs that could help? I am 22 years old and i have a 6 month old son. When i started secondary school i met my best mate we were inseperable for nearly 11 years I evenm moved in with her and her dad when her mum left them, she was there for me when i was raped and when i was trying to find my birth parents she was so supportive through all the **** i went through and we always promised to be there for each other. when i was 19 i met a lad and started dating him after 3 weeks i couldnt even be in the same room as him he was too controlling. she got together with him and we stayed frinds for a while then she cut me out of her life totally. she saw my mum who told her i had a son and after 3 years she called and came over for 10 mins then left, i miss her but she didnt explain why she cut me out of her life! Why did she turn up for 10 mins after 3 years of not talking to me!?

because I had been helping another firend with her baby that was in the hospital. I didn't want to hang out for long. She got mad because I wanted to call it a night so she started calling me a grumpy ***** and saying mean things. She drinks, I don't so she said I needed to drink so I would lighten up. She always has to have the final say and if I don't do what she wants then she gets mad and doesn'ttalk to me for a week or so. She thinks she is the best parent and her kids are so good. Frankly, I don't like to have my daughter around her much because she always screams and cusses at her kids. I don't want my child around that.. I did away with some back child support that my daughter's sperm donor owed. She reamed me for it saying I was stupid. I really want to say something to her but I know that it is going to cause a big scene and I dont' want that. She gets mad and cusses and says horrible things about me and others. Please give some advice..

One of my friends owned a scooter he sold to me for about $600, two years ago, when he moved to Indonesia.
I didn't get one block down the road the first time I drove it when I got a flat tyre.
On changing the tyre I also learned the brakes and bearings needed replacing, as well a new battery and a back tyre, too. I put lots of money into this bike,even before I got to use it .
Now he text messages me that he will come back, soon, and that he has a wife and a kid now and he needs that bike, and he wants to buy his bike back, but will pay only $400 for it, he insists and says that is a "fair deal".
I don't want to sound cold blooded, but he sold me a real turkey two years ago, that I had to immediately repair, even before I could use it. I like friends and I don't want to deprive someone of a nice scooter if he needs it, but enough is enough.. I feel that it is either the money I ask, or no bike...
But, of course, he probably won't be friends with me anymore. What gives?

i finally got an explanation about why my friendship supposedly ended, and her explanation bared no resemblance to reality whatsoever-that's not my opinion, either, it's sadly true! anyway, i agree we're done...and she doesn't even want my side of things, along with no more communication whatsoever. my question is this...although i have no problem not communicating with her in the future, i'm dying to at least let her know how wacky and outrageous her explanation is. would it be terribly out of line, if i do indeed have every intention of backing off afterward, if i sent a return e-mail saying..."i agree with you that things are over,and there should be no more communication,good luck too" and then casually mention how "crazy" she was,but in a diplomatic way.this is really not about getting the last word,i just can't believe what i read.if i tried explaining this to you,you wouldn't believe me at first.should i let it be,or can i send that last e-mail if i keep it short,and diplomatic?

try to be friends with someone and they treat you like shi* then when you ask them what they dont like about you they say, 'just the fact youre breathing', just the fact youre alive, thats what they dont like about me. would you say this person hates me? they wont tell me why they hate me either but they say that.

i am going back to my home country next month and now i am flatting with my flatmate. and i guess he will be partying and allowing his frens to stay overnight in my room when i am not around since he has my room key as in case because he is the 'manager' of the flat. i think he wont agree to hand in the key to me. so how do i prevent from him to let his frens overnight in my room when i am not there? i really dislike ppl to touch my things.
