I agree that people who ask personal questions should feel uncomfortable but maybe they are those people who feels comfortable talking to you.. therefore leads them to ask direct questions like the above.
I am more uncomfortable people discussing my sex life. I feel that sex is something between 2 persons and not meant for sharing. I strongly dislike men discussing about their sex experience with their comrades.
Youngster like to ask each other about their income when they first step out to work in the society. I find it pretty comfortable when I am asked about my income when I am younger.
