What is the best response to people who critiscise all the time...
i find that alot of my friends and family find it easy to criticise me...
if there is any weakness in my life, they take the chance to have a niggle!
and i find it annoying and irritating and unjustified...
it is usually the case that they prefer to poke at my life instead of dealing with their own issues!
What could i say to stop someone in their tracks when they are criticising me without telling them to get lost, or upsetting them?

I think... use sarcasm. Like " thank you for your inspirational comment" or " wow could you come over and help me dress, apparently I am clueless" Let is roll off you and just try to be kind. Maybe they will finally get it. I have kids...they fight constantly... youngest will run in... Mooooom she called me a such and such... I say... are you?... she says no... then I say then she is lying and ignore it.
Some just choose to pick others apart. I say treat others the way you want to be treated and try to be the best part of someone else's day. So when faced with negativity... spin it ..use sarcasm and kindness.

Come up with the best comeback: " it takes one to know one or why don't you go to the mirror and see if you got any mote in your eye before you cast the first stone" Sounds familiar? It's a quote from the Bible. Learn that from my Theology class many moons ago. Another: "Why don't you crawl back to the rock from where you came from?" "You must be really having a hard day? I do empathize with you.!!!"
"Want some cheese to go with that wine.(whine)?" " Have you got enough change to make a phone call and find out if anybody give a sh@t?" "Come over and let me give you some sugar?" " How would you like a knucklesandwich?"

You should ignore criticisms esp destructive ones and esp if they come from trolls and insensitive jerks. You shouldn't stoop to their level. You have more finesse that way. Another way, they might be criticizing their "own weaknesses."

Let me comfort you with this quote: Don't be too harsh on anybody you encounter. Everybody in one way or the other has a .........cross to bear.

YA won't allow me to give you more sites for your other question on Vit C and Thyroid hormone levels. Just Yahoo search on topic on Vit C and thyroxin. Another valuable info: Go to www.dogpile.com- has all the searh engines compiled into one. It's broader and more extensive than Yahoo Search alone. Yahoo search , google, foxfire,MSN, etc......

This always works for me. I say thank you for telling me. I will take that into consideration. I pause and if the person keeps on with something else. I repeat the same answer. Be sure you smile. People don't validate who I'm only God is allowed. And remember if they accuse you they have to own the behavior, to call you that. So it perhaps has nothing to do with you, you just mirrored back there flaw. Good luck!

When someone says something about you that you don't like, there are 3 things you can do. First you have to think about it. Is it true but you just don't like it? Thank them and make a committment to stop doing things you don't like. Is it true but you don't feel like it's a mistake or wrong? You can try to explain your point of view, acknowledging that they are correct about what's happening but you feel you are doing the right thing for you. If it's simply not true, you can try to explain this but don't lose any sleep over it. You might just have to agree to disagree.
And if you think about it, it's the things that we worry MIGHT be true that bother us. (I don't know what color eyes you have but let's say they're blue. If someone said you have brown eyes, it wouldn't bother you - you know what color they are. But if someone said something more vague like you're not smart or you lack patience or whatever - something that you can't prove but bothers you. Those are the annoying things.

hiii...!!!
one thing is sure that ..if there is a good ..then bad will always follow it....
they are lot many people in world who always keep their nose in others bussiness nd pass unnecessary comments....but remember one thing ..."NO STATUE NEVER BECAME ERECTED BY CRITICS''....let them comment you..but u dnt react..if u react to them they will still irritate you....be stable ..if those comments have sum sense then rectify yourself...if not take lite..dnt lend ur ears for them instead do ur work with a cool mind ...if still they comment ....with a wide smile on ur face say them "thanks a lot"...they will never comment again.....
but dnt take any comments to ur heart nd dnt feel dejected or insulted....
have a nice days a head..!!! go along with time dnt wait a minute nd dont think abt the people who comment on you..... you may miss a precious minute which will never come to u...!!!!
all the best

Tell them: "please turn your focus 'inward' on yourself first, then maybe we'll focus on me''...
or
Tell them: 'When I want your opinion I'll be sure to let you know'...
and my favorite is:
"Before you judge me take a look at yourself"...
