Our 20 year old daughter left home a few weeks ago because she thought it was time to move out.. She however was contacted by her grandma( my wifes mom) to stay with her. ( My wifes mom is the crudest, meanest, etc.. person I have ever met.I should have learned when she put a 10 gauge shotgun to my chest when I picked my "then" girlfriend up for a date . Anyway, she is tranforming our daughter ( Who has a learning disability & is VERY VERY naive) into a very bad person. "grandma" has put her name on all of our daughters charge cards, co-sighned for a line of credit for her, has taught her not to answer the phones when certain people call. My wife is ready to go CRAZY over this.. Her mom has not been nice to her for her entire life. I feel so bad for my wife. But..What do I do?We have a very nice family, 4 kids, beautiful house, etc. But NOTHING has ever been good enough for the grandma. I NEED HELP.. A SOLUTION!!!!

when he visited my mom was pretty kool wit him but when he left she told me its hideouss looking like a mop and all i wuz like wth.. y didnt u frickin tell him when he wuz here shes such a wimp.. i think my mom dont think of him to well.. but i love his emo do it's sooo totally kute. it feelts so good to run my fingers thur his hair and kiss him. it its kinda long and black with a patch of light blond like a skunk i told him to dye it :) what can i tell my mom so she accepts him?

I've notice some things about the way that a certain person acts with her family. She is a close friend of mine - and this is how I know these things. Is this normal behavior? Even when she doesn't respect the wishes of the family members? Even when she has a cold? Is it normal for her to act as if she's 10 years old and copy everything that other people are doing, even when it's not right for her? Is it normal for her to tell jokes all of the time and expect laughter even when it is apparent that everyone is busy?

This is not the first time he has not came home. We have talked to him and explained how worried we become and he should at least call. I even bought him a cell phone. There are many other things going on as well, he dropped out of school, he can't or won't hold a job. He doesn't do the things around the house that he's asked to do or if he does them he "half way" does them. I guess I'm just wondering if it would be fair to ask him to leave.

My mum found me smoking on saturday night, although my brother smokes they never thought i would be stupid enpugh to do so, tehy constantly told me that. They pulled me up today and told me they were so disappointed in me and my mum even cried (my dad just lectured me and called me an idiot).
They have asked me in the past if i have smoked weed which i denied but if they find that out now it will kill them both!!! Should i confess all ive done to them before they find out in the future,( if they find out) and think that im a liar too????
Im wracked with guilt that i just ,made my own mother cry, what should i do?

she feels her son was taught and inherited some values from his father that she does not want him passing on to his son. she did not go into detail but she is clearly upset. she tried talking to her son about this over the phone and it did not go well. i suggested talking to him in person.

The things I don't like about my
1. mother, are she watch some stupid television shows which I hate the most. We often fight with each other because of this issue.
Her thoughts are very old fashioned like A doctor woman should marry a doctor man only so that there won't be any problems in their future life ans so on...
2. about my father what I dont like is,
He drinks
He doesn't interfere in our family matters
He thinks that men are superior to women
And the most annoying thing, He is non-vegeterian
3. About my sister what I don't like is,
Though she is an MBBS doctor she herself don't believe in eating healthy food. she craves on junk food all the time.
She is very short tempered.
