Try doing this,At about 8am is wake up time then after you feed and bathe the baby ,read or play with the baby for about an hour or so !!!! Then maybe take the baby for a walk!!!! After that it should be lunch around 1230 pm then down for a nap for about two hours ,after that keep baby busy and entertained till around 730 pm feed bay a nice warm bottle of milk with a touch of cereal in it then bathe the baby again and put baby to sleep!stick to this schedule about there weeks even if the baby resists stick to it then this will become a pattern and now baby is on schedule!!! God bless hope this works out worked for my kids! Just be persistent!

Yes you can! I didn't start a sleeping schedule with my daughter until she was almost 6 months old. Figure out what times he/she is tired and start the schedule that way. At 5 months my daughter took two naps during the day and then to bed by 9 at night. That worked for her and me. So just see when your child is tired and start putting him./her down to nap during the same time each day, start a nap time routine, read, sing or rock, whatever your baby likes to get him/her ready for nap.

Read the book " The Secrets of the Baby Whisperer" by Tracy Hogg. We learned so much from this book and by following all the steps we were all sleeping through the night soon after.

What is your baby doing now?
At 4 months we took the advise of Dr. Ferber, in his sleeping book. It was the best thing we ever did.
You have to be more specific with your question about what your child is doing right now...

do not let him/her sleep all day... keep them up as long as possible.. it will take a few days. but when you get up wake them up, keep them up all day, put them to bed at bed time, then do the same the next day..
