I'm not quite understanding why you can't just ask the inmate, or one of his friends/family, but whatever.....This link will help you find an inmates info in a Federal facility

If he's in a State Prison, do a search that looks like this, except without the quotation marks....
"Yourstate corrections prison inmate search"
That will get you links to the inmate lookup services.
Not all states make sentence/release date info available this way, but many do.

Yes, If they are in a federal prison you can go to www.bop.gov. and they will tell you the release date as long as you have their first and last name.

this is usually found online. do you know what prison the are in even what state. like i live in florida we have a whole website for every person in jail or prison here. just keep looking youll find them.
