Well first of all you don't get even. You talk first to your partner. You as well as your partner should know better than to encourage you kids with snitching. You should agree together that is is not acceptable, and then together let your kids know it's not acceptable. If your kids have a problem with a parent both parents should be present to deal with the situation.

You don't get even with your kids. If they snitched, I'm sure it was innocent. Kids say things all the time that they don't realize may be something they shouldn't have said. It depends on the age of the child that the parent should sit down and have a talk with him/her. If it's a younger child that really doesn't know, then you just need to watch what you say/do in front of the child

by keeping your kids out of your business. A lot of people want their kids to be their best friends but you have to have a parent relationship with them, not a friendship. Let them know that everything you do isn't for everyone to know about. and if you must do dirt keep it out of your kids eyesight. especially the little ones because they naturally yap a lot.

Wow, how many parents do you see asking this everyday? Dude, just over look it and keep yourself straight. Then they won't have anything to snitch about!

Why are you hiding things from your partner? You're teaching your children to be deceitful. Is that what you want them to be like with you when they are older?
If your partner is a bit of a tyrant. try getting some agreement about what you want to do beforehand, or failing that, go to "marriage guidance" counseling."

You should grow up, you should be setting an example to your kids, not trying to get them back for being honest. You were the one that did something you shouldnt, they are not in the wrong at all!

Hmm... maybe you shouldn't be doing something that would be "snitch-on-able" in the first place, ever think of that?
Or, you could put toothpaste on their toilet seat...

You don't get even - your supposed to be the adult. But here's an idea - don't do things you shouldn't be doing when the kids are watching - what they don't see they can't tell.
