I have a lock on my bedroom door for privacy. I lock it to be alone. My question is this. If the door is locked WHY jingle the doornob? I even say the door is locked and it jingles more than ever. Jingleing will not make the door open so why do it? what is the point I find it kind of "weird" so how do I handle it?

My parents know times have changed and they don't accept new kinds of livings. I've asked them for a very long time for a computer but he doesn't care.Please help.How can convince them? (we had agreements regarding thi and fulfiled all my quests)

He fights with me when I make him go on the potty. When I do finally get him on there, he just sits there and cries until he is aloud to get off. And then he waits for his diaper to be put back on and goes in it. If I try to put underware on him he just pees in those. I try to reason with him and tell him he will get a treat if he goes but that still won't work. It's also hard when my parents "whom I still live with" give him everything he wants even when I tell them I don't want him to have sertain things. So giving him a treat means nothing to him because my parents already are going to give it to him. I tried to get my parents to cooperate with me and help me to get him on the potty because he don't think he has to listen to me as long as they don't make him. They don't want to deal with his crying so they just don't enforce. I can't aford to move out just yet so in the mean time, I need a solution to get him to listen to me.

Does my 1 year old need sunscreen if i'm just gonna leave him in a chair under the umbrella at the beach? He'll be in the shade under the umbrella and i'll be laying on a blanket in the sun getting tan so i can look hot and sexy and going in and out of the water. I have to bring him to the beach with me tomorrow cause i cant leave him alone again. So does he need sunscreen or what?

My husband is older than me and has a soon to be 2 yr old granddaughter who I adore! But at 35 Idon't think calling me grandma is age appropriate..LOL Any way I don;t think my step daughter would like it because her mom is grandma. My husband and I have been togather 7yrs, so I'am not new to step family situations. But I would like to come up with something for her to call me other than my first name. Any suggestions?

My mom wants to drive me to college. She is overprotective, she is making me live at home (I don't mind), but she doesn't want to buy me a car or have me buy it. I respect her, but I think the driving me to school thing is bullshit. Any ideas (btw, my mom is an old fashioned Iraqi woman)...I am almost 18 and I don't even have a cell :(

I have two giddy, female, younger teenage cousins around my age who decide to entertain themselves at family gatherings by taking apart my room for a diary. Before you all ask and joke, I am a girl with a male Avatar because I find that people more readily accept men in these online commuties. Well, instead, they found a Psychology Today magazine about the Nature of Attraction. The cover can be considered sexual. And, being teenage girls with no sexual experiance, you would have thought from the giggles they had found a porn stash. Of course that's been hidden away, but not before they read the first page of my diary. This 'search-for-the-diary' has gone on for too long.

What am I to do? I really don't want to get my parents involved; they have enough to do. And because of my...size...I have vowed never to use it against someone unless I really have to. And they're too immature to hear my protests. My parents disapprove of locking bedroom door. And its sad that I can't trust them.

my aunt and uncle are filthy rich and they refer to our kids as poor kids cause we dont raise them like they did my cousins.they think we should have a ton of money to and shop at the expensive stores and spoil our kids,they should never have to do chores,there qoute is lets kids have fun not work. how would u handle that my take on it is i was not raised that way by my parents but did have more than some other did but i am ok with livin a life with a few bills and not livin in a big old house with spoiled rotten ungrateful kids that are lazy slobs. my kids have their own bed rooms and plenty of clothes and shoes and clothes,food and all the things they need but not always everything they want and i think that is the way it should be,dont u?

If you do laundry for your family, do they get peeved if you do it in a different way than they do? Like if they sort by colors and you sort by type of fabric, do they get peeved if you do it your way instead of theirs?
