This is his first gaming system...I was hoping he would get it out of system before now...it was his Christmas present last year. Summer vacation is here and I am out of ideas. If he wasn't playing, then he would probably just be saying he is bored all the time. I think it's probably too late to find him a summer job...that would mean I would be driving him all over the place...AAAGGGHHH!!!
There just aren't any good things for teens to do around here. I mean, he has chores and he cuts grass for spending money. He also plays paintball a couple times a week, but that only takes up so much time.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? He is a good kid...makes all A's...is never in trouble...maybe I should just count my blessings?

i know it's not father's day but yesterday he wasn't gonna work. i thought it was a good idea to leave a present for FD in my dads truck while he was working it's late night and i bet u he already saw the present. but he hasn't called. am i supposed to be mad and sad? CAUSE I AM. i love my dad but he hasn't called me in 6 months that says bad father to me. I miss my dad. :( i'm sorry but i have given up on him. am i wrong to do that?

K, my boyfriend's whole family is coming over our house tomorrow. 2 months ago, his brother repeated to his sister something that I said about her (it wasn't exactly nice). I haven't been in a room with either of them since...my boyfriend made up a lie to cover my ***, and try to make his sister not feel so bad. They will both be there tomorrow....If I get confronted...do I tell the truth and deal with her hating me or possible crying :( or keep up the lie that my boyfriend told (which could be kinda hard, I'm a horrible liar, I turn red and get VERY nervous). It's the first time we're having them all over since we moved in together, I don't want the day to be ruined...any advice would be nice. (sorry this is so long)

I have a 15 month old grandson I work all the time except some on weekends. I have never kept my grandbaby at all the great grandma makes sure on weekends off she got him she is selfcenter and selfish

I live on the other side of the world and when we talk on the phone we don't have much to say. I feel really bad... I want him to know I how much I love him but it's not always easy for us to have much of a good conversation. (I can't afford to spend a bunch of money on "showing" him I care)

she dosn't talk to me unless forced and then its y/n answers. she tells me one thing and my husband others. and worst of all she has comments about my parenting skills, which my husband believes i just misunderstood! last time we visited her, and my baby was crying she kept saying things like "oh she just wants her daddy, or she wants to be put down" anything but acknowlege me!!!by the way, this was my 1st mothers day and when i called to wish happy mday to her, she never acknowledged me. i could go on for ever here. we are going there for fathers day tomarrow and i'm already having panic attacks.they live 2hrs away and never come here, but she complains that she never gets to see the baby or my husband. she also comments on the fact that my parents see us often..well dugh..they drive out to see us all the time and my mom talks to me!!!addtionally, they are dirty people I mean toenails on the carpet dirty..no wonder i don't want to put the baby down there.eww...my husband just laughs.

i have 2 brothers 3 sisters and with me its 6 kids in the family...the thing me and my sis have a different dad than my brother chris have another dad and the last three kids are fromthis guy i called dad for the last 17 years of my life..............the thing is that my mother doesnt know we know that my dad aint my real dad.......the thing is that my aunt told me about a year ago that her husband brother was my dad...well its weird cause all i want is for my mother to come out with the truth she always tries to play it off cause i dont look like my dad or my other brothers and im always asking her about it but she changes the subject........im old enough to know what really happen but it seems that she cant come with the truth...i know the truth...i kinda know im black mixed with mexican and my dad full mexican and the rest of the family mexican and i dont know that i was different cause i was different with my sis but i saw my birth certificate and it said african american.....

My mother has lived on her own since my Dad passed away in 1999. He always had a handle on her but over the last few years she has become downright agressive..I can say and do what I want .I'm a senior citizen and have earned that right, she says. But the last few months she is denying saying things, forgetting about things. Very touchy. I am the only one in family that she seems to cotton to, the othes don't see her very often, aren't willing, able to do so. Mum doesn't want help with anything, then she wants help with certain things, done immediately. We try.
