How to get through the teenage years successfully:
Always believe in yourself and always be yourself.
Don't try to be like anyone else. You are unique and special.
Stand up for your beliefs and don't let peers talk you into things.
They do not have your best interest at heart and you know right from wrong.
Never let a boyfriend or any boy treat you with disrespect. Stand up for yourself and let them know how you want to be treated.
Focus on school first.................then boys second not the other way around.
You will have a lot of feelings in your teen years. You are beginning to have lots of responsibilities. The decisions that you make will effect your future. Make the right decisions.
You may think your parent doesn't know anything..............he/she does. They were a teen too and they have your best interest at heart.

It's been a long time since I was a teenager and yet I remember that period of my life as being the greatest part of my life. Your body and mind, both, are going through some major changes during those years. Because of that, you have some major challenges, problems, and most have heartache. After you get a little older you realize those major upsets in your life weren't nearly as major as they seemed at the time. My advice is, Don't tie yourself down to one person. Go out and have fun with lots of different people. Stay away from drinking, drugs and sex. You may think you're missing out at the time but there'll come a day when you'll be glad you did. Just make good, happy memories that you can look back on with fondness for the rest of your life. It is the most free, most unencumbered time of your life!

I will have to say, especially looking back on it now, that the teenage years is probably the most of extremes. Meaning, that your hormones are raging, you have what seems like endless time, you feel that you are immortal, and yet you have up's and down's of life to deal with and trying to seperate from your parents. For me, I came from an alcoholic father, and a mother who enabled it all and well, I got tremendous joy out of being with my close friends and even being at school, having fun there or hanging out after school with my friends!!! It was a time if somebody asked me now, "Would you want to go back to your teenage years?" No, no thanks! I think it is a time of tremendous growth in many ways, but sometimes too fast, too much and when you don't have family to talk to about it, it makes it that much harder. I would say that you just go with the flow as best you can. Know that in any point of your life, in teen years or otherwise, you are going to go through great times, and really difficult times, learn as best you can from it all!!!! Good question! Good luck! You'll be fine!

Being a teen is awesome, but there are a lot of downs lol your expected to mature more and be treated like an adult, your given more responsibilities as high school starts, making decisions for yourself...A LOT OF DECISIONS! Most of the time they aren't easy things. The ups I guess would be driving of course, license and all that....that's it lol

Not me! I had a very awkward 'awkward phase'. I wasn't happy until I hit 18. It all depends on the person. If you are a confident happy person with a supportive family and group of friends, the teen years are a bit easier to endure. Take each moment as it comes and try to enjoy the good stuff.

i hated my teenage years...i couldn't wait to turn 18...now i'm almost 21 and i wish i could go back to my teenage years!
Being a teen can be difficult there are so many changes...parents don't understand and your body changes but enjoy it because being an adult kinda sucks!
all your money is spent on insurance, gas, and other crap you really don't get to enjoy what you earn...there is always some bill to seperate you and your money...even if you're a save-a-holic like me...your money will dissappear!
