Is there such thing as 'The One'?

I seem to end all of my relationships because i dont feel what i should for them.

Is ' The One' just a myth?

me and my ex girlfriend were going out for a few years and lets just say we loved each other as much as anyone could possibly love each other, our relationship started to go downhill but ill never forget all the good times we had and neither will she? even though we've both moved on do you think she will still have a place for me in her heart forever?

It is hard to let my child grow up but I have enjoyed it at the same time. I find myself saying Stop Stop Stop Slow Slow Slow Go Go Go. But I do it in an acceptable tone and I pretend to be laid back. We can joke about it later. Do you have any funny stories to share?

i can not stand him at all! i hate him ! when my dad left when i was bout 2 years old. i would have never thouhgt that my mom would get married to a dude that i didnt even know! then they had a child together! great ! now my stepdad like tells on me like constantly! if i pee wrong he would tell my mom! but i have a question do you think its right for a stepdad to beat a child thats not his with a belt? i cant stand him! im try to avoid him so much! but its like he is always here! he has cussed me out like 3 times becuase my mom told me to ask him for money! him and my mom dont talk for like a week then you know she goes back to him! i recently got in trouble and i brought up the way he has cussed me out and my mom would take his side and tell me to forgive but im not becuase the 3rd time he did it that was his last straw! i dont know what to do i dont want to live in that same house as him!

I've been talking to a guy on msn (i do already know him from home. its just cos hes at uni) and he recently told me that he really likes me and he wants to out and i replied back that i liked him too.

However, when i told him this, he said that he wasnt really date material at the moment and that long distance relationships were really hard to keep up but if i wanted we could go out when he comes home. Also he said that if i didnt we could still be friends and meet up sometime.

Then I told him that i did want to go out with him and ever since hes been talking to me about his fantasies with me! I havent mentioned anything about sex to him and when i told my friend, she got really worried (as all friends would) that I may lose my virginity just to please him and not because i wanted to.

He assumes (i think) that we would eventually have sex which i dont mind but im still unsure whether he really likes me or if its just to get me into bed!


What do you guys think?

We were high school sweethearts. I consider him my first love. He married this other girl after dating for a while. After having been married to her for about a year, he came to visit me. Well, we started to reminisce and we started seeing each other on the side. Eventually she found out. He says he was only there for his kids because he knew that if he left her, she wouldnt let him see the kids. (BTW, he turned out to be right)
Well, due to financial restraints, he has not been able to pay for an atty. He's been with me a long time and together we have had alot of financial hurdles. I somehow feel guilty of accusing him of not wanting the divorce when he's so wrapped up in paying OUR bills.
I'm at a point where if we're going to be together, he NEEDS to wrap up this segment is his life. My question is-----Would marriage somehow lessen the sin I I have committed by messing with a married man? She hasnt asked for a divorce either.

I dumped him for a guy I'm with now but the relationship is an absolute hell (not just recently!) and I want my ex back. Last year, when we had a re-union from university, we were the last 2 people who stayed the last day and I had a great time. It was like going years back in time, he hasn't changed but said that I have, for the better and we got on so well, best day I had in ages. I really really want him back, how do I approach him? I've been seeing this certain fella about 5 months ago, it lasted only about a month. I still say most of it was stress, which has so far been released on my account at least. I took it up better than I expected because I had new job and moving house to think of, but I never really could forget him.

Last week I saw him again first time in 4 months. Didn't know what to say and I was meeting someone else in the pub we were in. But while I was talking to that other person, and when my ex passed us, I noticed he was looking. Not the 'oh, her again' look, but the interested look, not the flirty one.

After he was gone, and the person I was seeing that night was gone too, I went to talk to a friend and that friend told me that he knew we'd had something, because he was looking at me a lot. Which left me... baffled, really.

Now, am I imagining things because I still love him? Or is there really something on his mind that I should know?

I've never been in love in my life, but I met this girl I liked in September and we became really good friends. The more we hung out the more I liked her. Then on Valentinesday day we went out and I tried to kiss her. She rejected me and since then we have not seen each other.. she has just been really flakey with me and now we don't even talk anymore.

Even though we never really "dated" its been very hard for me to deal with losing her and I'm hurting. I think about her everyday and just feel sad and almost depressed. Was this love? Because if not.. I'd hate to feel REAL heartbreak. Just want some thoughts on this... Thanks
