I've never been in love in my life, but I met this girl I liked in September and we became really good friends. The more we hung out the more I liked her. Then on Valentinesday day we went out and I tried to kiss her. She rejected me and since then we have not seen each other.. she has just been really flakey with me and now we don't even talk anymore.

Even though we never really "dated" its been very hard for me to deal with losing her and I'm hurting. I think about her everyday and just feel sad and almost depressed. Was this love? Because if not.. I'd hate to feel REAL heartbreak. Just want some thoughts on this... Thanks

If you're ansking me i personally think YOU were in love just a minor problem, she wasn't. For something to work, both people have to love eachother. This same thing happened to me, i still love my ex. we did go out but he lost interest in me. I still feel the heartbreak everyday when i hear his voice but he pushed that past him and was wiling to be friends so i took the oppurtunity and pushed it away and we are best friends now, we talk everyday. maybe if you both can push that by, you can be best friends. talk to her, in private so she won't be influenced to make any rational descisions. good luck to you!!

peace and love,

i do not think this was love; maybe lust. it seemed like you got really attached to her. you had her in your life for a while and you got used to that and now she is not there with you anymore. you will eventually get over it and find someone else. it just takes some getting used to. just keep yourself occupied so you do not think about it as much. good luck!

possibly. if you question it then probably not. yes it hurts. but she doesnt deserve you. maybe she just wants to be friends. loosing a good friend hurts even more then loosing a flakey crush. it takes alot of time but you'll be fine.

Happend to me......... I think you thought of her more then she thought of you.... she considerd you as a friend and you wanted more........... KNow she doesnt want to talk............ so just the best thing you can do is move on...... or another alternative is to make her jealouse but if she doesnt like you then it wont work... just wait it out............. go out side and play some sports will get your mind of her..........

i think you're just infatuated with her... you we're having a lot of expectations, probably those expectations were about you and her (ex. thinking you'd be having a relationship with her that will last)...so when she rejected your "kiss" you obviously felt depressed and sad 'cause she didn't fulfill those expectations of yours...
