hi, in a nutshell, i'm 31 yrs old and when i was 17 i dated someone violent who did horrible things to me. Well, 14 yrs later I see him and he gives me a mean look, recognized me but didn't say anything. I saw him around maybe 3 times and each time he would break his neck to look at me. I'm married now with 2 kids but when I saw him I got chills and was so scared. My husband tells me i'm not that young girl anymore and not to feel scared but i worry still and feel sick that I still harbor scared feeling towards this monster. I want to move as I'm afraid one day of a confrontation. Please, any advice would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

A lot of my friends don't talk to me now just because of it. The thing is, I have been a cheerleader since 1st grade. I just now (8th grade) started cheering for my school, and they don't talk to me.

But guys I never talked to before, are always talking to me and stuff. I dont know what it is about being a cheerleader, but people love you or they hate you.

Its really annoying. I personally, would rather have all my friends back then have all these guys giving me all this attention. And I'm not exaggerating. My school goes grades 6-12. I'm the only girl in the Middle School part of the school on the cheering team. I don't want all this attention, I just cheer because I love it.

What is it that makes everyone love/hate cheerleaders?

Okay, we visited my hubby's parents. In the morning I walked out of the bedroom and saw my mother-in-law sitting on my hubby's lap, having her arms around his neck. My hubby was not wearing a shirt, he had his shorts on.

I was very uncomfortable when I saw this scene. I know they were just talking, but why would she do this to her grown-up, married son? i think it is kind of inappropriate. What do you think?

ok..most of my friendz are bigger than me..I am skinny..but not anorexic skinny!! Well my friendz always critized me that I am skinny and how i am weak or who's scared of her.. and I am just tired of it-- sometimes I feel like punching them in the face.... I want to know why do people make a big deal about being skinny..and why do they criticized the people that are skinny and call them anorexic and stuff? I cant help it if i am in good shape and stuff! It hurtz when people do that it really does but I never show it.. I just get mad and angry and confront them about it after I cool off! but I am tired of it and i just need some advice right now pleez!

Ok. So i like this guy. He's in the same grade as me, and he's your typical american teenager. Tall, sweet, cute, smart, and insanely awesome. Last year, in seventh grade, we were in the same core, and we were in all the same classes. We talked all the time, and we've flirted a couple of times. Now, in eighth grade, we're in different cores, and at different sides of the school. I hardly ever talk to him anymore, just say hi every once in a while in the hallway. I have his screen name, but every time he signs on he instantly puts an away message up. I've imed him when he's signed on and he's talked to me a couple times, but we only talk about school and i told him "happy birthday". Does he like me back? Is there a chance?

We take their last names
We take their driver license number (theirs stays the same, our first few letters turn into theirs).
Before marriage we are miss or ms and after we are mrs, they are always mr. We become Mr's.

Every 2nd weekend, both sons should visit Dad.

Since Feb 2007, Dad doesn't take the little one who hides & cries when it's time to go w/him. At first, I thought it was sad but it looks like he's ok and he doesn't miss seeing Dad - for now anyway.

Still, I feel this is wrong. I tell my sons nice things about their Dad once in a while, hoping it'll convince the 3 yrs old that Dad is nice to hang out with. He should see both his sons.

Should I stop worrying?

Do you think that when the youngest will be ready to go see Dad, he will ask to go?

ok, so theres this girl at my lunch pireod, and i really like her, nd i know for a fact that she liked me at one point, soo anyways i called her to my table to chit chat so i could get 2 know her, everything started of great, in the begining of our chat all she did was stare at me nd smile.. i started asking her the usual stuff, like where do u live, what are you, what do u do on your spare time, etc, made her laugh a couple of times, but then things started turning bad, it felt like i was talking to a wall, i ended up just asking her a whole bunch of questions, nd all she did was give straight answers, she ended up being bored out of her mind.... did i screw up the relationship? or should i still chat with her and try to ask her to hangout sometime?

My mom has been on a steady decline. She was repeatedly abused by my alcoholic dad, physically and emotionally. My family and I have been alone now, but after an incident at work my mom quit her job to avoid liabilities. She drinks so much wine, and she’s broken down crying on me three times, which she’s never done before. She swears more, and she won’t get another job even though she has three kids to raise. She verbally attacks me but treats my brothers well. I bumped into her in the kitchen once and she rounded on me, saying, “I’m getting this feeling that you’re trying to bug me,” which I had never even thought of doing. I told her that she should stop attacking me, because I need to vent and tell other people about what she’s doing to me, and she quickly apologized, maybe in an attempt to keep other people from knowing how she acted. She absolutely refuses therapy. I want to help her, but how? And how can I keep her from targeting me like this?

Out of a room full of girls, if 2 walked up to me, for some reason, they'd be the ones I wouldn't want. Why is this? What I'm saying is - I usually don't like the girls that like me.
