My ex apologized to me for the devastating things he did to me in the past. It was appreciated, but I didn't show it for that very reason: its in the PAST, can't be changed, and the damage is done. I simply told him apology accepted and left it at that. Do know that apologizing does show that you've grown and matured and is a sign of respect for the love that you two onced shared. She may not show it, but your apology may have taken a weight off of her heart that will allow her to move on .

Seth: Ever heard of forgive and forget. I think she will definitely forgive you. I am sort of in the same arena. It will also be appreciated because girls love that sentimental stuff and it shows that you are willing to show some emotion and not be some big tough guy.
