I am dating a guy whose last relationship was pretty serious and they had sex at least a couple times Im sure. So now he's with me and I have told him many times that I want to stay adstinent for a while still (im only a freshman/he's a junior) and he respects my choice and encourages my decision. But sometimes I dont think he will really be able to go a really long time without "it" since he has already "tasted it". Do you think he will be able to control himself and not wander for sex??? It wasn't easy, I was 45, he was 47; we were both in love and very strongly attracted to each other from the beginning till the end.then we started living together......after we shared 3 years of life, with many difficulties in the relationship ( he is too used to be free and not to have to respond to anyone and I was a wife for 20 years and couldn't put up with the guilt that I left my ex ) he dumped me and isn't even interested in where I am or what I do....never heard from him again and I know that he met, three months ago and is seeing a 30 year old ucranian girl . how can a man that loved you, replace you after 20 days us beeing apart ?

it seems as though every day we get in an argument, many of times her fault. right now im doing terrible in school, just witnessed my grandmas death, and my friends are trying to get me to smoke pot, she is aware of all these things, yet she still seems to try and make me upset all the time, i have tried being nice within these arguments, but the outcome turns out as, "because i said so". wich annoys me even further. the reason i stated "my moms a stupid piece of ****" is because these arguments happen because of her small memory and slow procces of thought, "or so it would appear she has", i have tried avoiding her to dodge future arguments, but she just keeps pestering me, and it turns into a bigger argument, (weird thing is, ive been in many arguments, but its only my mom who gets me to the point where im sad enough to tear up, she knows all of my weak points and never fails to use them. what should i do?

Ok, I'm getting married soon and my fiance's family...well they like to drink...a lot. I've already refused to have an open bar at the reception, but house wine and draft beer are included with the meals because many of my fiance's relatives won't come unless there is alcohol. I wouldn't care about their drunken exploits except for the fact that a lot of people in my family don't drink at all. I don't want my reception to turn into a drunken mess. And honestly, the main culprits are his parents (I've seen them at weddings before). Is there a nice way to ask my fiance's parents to not get drunk at the reception?

I'll take any and all advice I can get!!!!

Im 16 and i live with my mother, her husband and my 4 year old sister. I am miserable here and i really need to get out!!! I am so miserable that i can barely eat any thing any more it makes me sick to my stomach and sometimes throgh up. Which is because of my nerves. I've been talking to some girls cautiously maybe thinking about dating them. When I talk to them on the phone, they sometimes brings up her ex boyfriend and I'm thinking that she's not over him yet. I broke up with my girlfriend about 5 months ago. We were still really close despite the fact that we broke up. Basically I was waiting for her to change a few things before I was going to ask her to be my girlfriend again. Months went by, we were still close, still kissed, still hung out and stuff. I have a friend, he is going through a rough period in his life. He is over 40 and is feeling l ike he is dying, becoming a shell of a person.
