We also don't eat bacon but as far as the paychecks one is larger than the other but they both go into the joint account which makes it "our" money regardless of who earned more.

We don't eat bacon....really bad for your heart/arteries; but we both bring home paychecks, well even that is not exactly true, they go right to the bank.
