My dad died last year and my mother died when I was 28 yrs old. My ex husbands parents both died before my kids were 5. My dad was the only grandparent my kids knew..ever. My parents had me when my dad was 40 and my mother was 38.
Now dealing with my boyfriends family has become kind of weird. He is 54 yrs old and his mother is alive and still works. He had living grandparents up until about 4 yrs ago. His kids have grandparents, great grandparents, on both sides.
I am kind of jealous, but realize there is nothing I can do. I hope my kids have children while they are young so they can have living grandparents. Do you think that is strange?

We have been broken up for over 2 months, and once I got over the initial pain of breaking up, I have been doing fairly well and despite his asking me to come back, I have remained strong and not gone back to him because I know he would ultimately hurt me again. What is hard is sometimes I get so upset because I think about all the good times, the times where I was sure he was the one....sometimes I just wish I could go back to him and have the relationship that I have "dreamed up" in my head with him. But I know it won't be like that, and that he'll just go back to his old ways and I'll be right back where I was 2 months ago. So my question is - why do I still think about him? This morning I woke up and was so depressed. Why is it so easy to remember the good times but not the bad ones? The worst part is we work together so I see him constantly...so it's not like I can do the no contact thing...How do I let this go and realize that I am so much better off with out him?

I talk to this one girl, and she asked If I'm trying to get signed for my music, and I told her I'm not worried about it. I like doing underground...then she starts bragging that she has an "cousin" that is signed into def jam. I left my ex because he was unfaithful. I moved to another state to start a new life and he found someone else and got married. We have a son together. My ex calls the house weekly to stay in touch with Jr. Last night when I answered the phone, I told him that I missed him because I do so very much. To my surprise, he responsed back with the same. What exactly does that mean? In my heart, I know one day we'll get back together and grow old with one other. This time we have apart, I believe, has been good for me (can't speak for him) and it has taught me that you should put you man/husband/boyfriend first in your life.

My girlfriend and I got back together about 3-4 months ago. We are going to different colleges and know that it wont be easy but we had a long time apart and it was driving us both nuts. We really love each other and I trust her 100%. I guess it´s been a year and a half now and I´m still crazy about her so all is good.

Except she wont tell any of her friends about me. She is muslim and Im not so it´s not completely certain how they would judge her etc. Sometimes when I go to visit her Ive had to take the back door out so no one can see me and generally avoid being seen with her. It feels like Im being jerked around a little but for all I know Im being unreasonable. She loves me but shes just odd.

To make matters worse a guy (her best friend at college) likes at her. He is always trying to flirt wıth her and tried to hold her hand once. She wont tell him about me even after I requested. This makes me really uneasy.

So am I asking too much? Even if she doesnt like him lıke that?
