I'm also celibate it's been two years now and you should continue i mean it doesn't mean you can't date him and see if he is worth it
After you date him for a while and feel comfortable with him as a mate instead of a buddy then maybe you can go to the next level

Absolutely. In the long run, it is impossible for a man and a woman to be friends. Your husband will certainly, correctly, not tolerate it. So you have nothing to lose - go for it.
