We have had such a roller-coaster on-again/off-again relationship for about 1 1/2 years. I love her to death but we are both dramatic and unstable together. In that sense we're perfect for each other, but we also have an unhealthy relationship. When it's just the two of us, in private, it can be REALLY good. We're very similar and we compliment each other perfectly. We love each other very much, but we deal with social situations differently and that causes tension. I'm very independent and I need time with the guys. She either likes to be together all the time, or tries to punish me for my "time with the guys" by going out with sleazy guy "friends" and trying to make me jealous or regretful for not bringing her out with me. Meanwhile these guy "friends" tell her anything they can to make themselves look better in comparison to me. We're broken up now and I'm moving to California. I'm glad to be free of the nonsense but I feel like she's my other half. Should I work it out or move on?
