I got on under a different name to see if he would talk to me, he did and he had no idea it was me!! I asked him if he had a girlfriend and he he said yes!! He still went into detail about how he wanted to meet her (me) and have sex with her! I broke up with him but now he is begging for me back. He says he didn't cheat! Should I say I forgive him? Has he cheated?

I did this to one of my ex boyfriends. I broke up with him too. At the time he basically made me sick anyways. Wrecked my car and was very mean to me. Somehow, I never built enough trust in that relationship and had to catch him. In which, what sucks about doing that is that you will now want to do that with every guy that you are with. I have been with my bf for 2 months. There has been a little issue with things but I figured if he can tell me about the girls that he hangs out with he is not cheating on me with them. That insercurity is hard to get rid of... I'm working on it as well.
If you really love him give him another chance... but I just think since you already caught him online you are just going to be paraniod that he will do that agian. So, basically all the trust is gone in that relationship.
Your bf was probably just horny... He probably knew he was talking to you.

well, you got what you asked for! He edid not lie to you, did nothing outside every other male in the world does when flirting online, and he did not cheat on you, yet, you broke up with him because you deceived him into believing that you were someone you were not and that is a lie. How much trust did you build by being dishonest? You did more than catch him, you lost him at the same time because you were insecure so you lied, deceived and then broke up with him because you could not support your insecurity in an honest manner of dealing with your feelings so you tricked him and then broke up using your dishonesty as the reason. Now I have heard it all and that is the true nature of the female. In addition, females after doing things of this nature have the nerve to critique the things a man does by nature. Hypocracy is a disease and is wedespread in our world especially among politicians. If lies and deceit do not bother you maybe you should pattern your life for a career in politics because you and those like you are one of the reasons that the divorce rate is so high. The far reaching effects of your event are not isolated to your relationship as we are judged by the gender we identify with. Good, finally justice is applied as defined and you got what you deserved. I feel sorry for you but some of the most important lessons of life come with a very high price.

Did he promise another girl(you) of any commitments or anything bad he said about real you ?
I think he's so straight when he said it that he has a girlfriend means you. He did not cheat and he deserves a kiss, hug and of course a warm and nice forgiveness

He didn't cheat because he didn't act on it. But you shouldn't get back together with him because if it wasn't you he would have. There wasn't any trust in that relationship and because of what he would have done you need to move on and forget about that jerk!

well in my opinion he didnt really CHEAT on you.... but that was VERY VERY VERY wrong to do!!! tell him that the girl on the internet was you and then say , i know u didnt know it was me , so why did u say that u wanted to have sex with her... im ur g/f!! obviously if he cared about you alot then he would have thought before he said crap like that. he doesnt deserve you. let him learn a lesson. say no.

Well he technically didn't cheat but i don't think it will be long before he would..
