Sex is a physical thing that can happen when you love somebody or if you are just looking for a good time. When you love somebody it is a feeling and if it is true love you want to spend the rest of your life with that person. Sex can be one night stands or just friends hooking up but it doesn't mean anything but how good it feels unless you love that person.

Love is a verb. Sex is a noun.
Love is always a virtue. Sex can be either morally right or morally wrong.
True love (not all this junk that you see on TV) is a deep care for another more than one's self. Sex can either be a total self gift (but is never really total out side of marriage) or a seek of self pleasure.

The list goes on and on.....but I will say this true love (not what most perceive as love) is so sweet that it makes lust seem sour.

Love is an emotion, feeling and the creative principle of the universe. It is spiritual and not tangible. Sex is an act and a release and or a way to procreate. It can be filled with love but really has not so much to do with it as it's cracked up to be.

Love can be sex as well overlook some of the answers! If you truely love someone it is shown and felt through sex, hence its not just a lay. Sex alone is just that sex without any feelings.

love is having something much more in a relationship. Love is being able to talk about nothing for hours, trusting, understanding, and caring deeply for someone else. Sex is just that nothing more. If you are worried that your relationship is just sex try not having sex for a week and seeing if you have anything else in common or if it just gets boring. that is the true test. hope this helps

Love is the feeling. Sex is the action.

Love can be expressed through sex, but sometimes sex can be for other things besides love.

love is the warm feeling you experience w/ your wife (as you look back at a lifetime of highs and lows; buying your first home, creating & nurturing children, watching years of home-videos Thanksgiving, Easter, Chrstmas'..you get the point)...sex is the raw, animal passion that you experience w/ your mistress...no vidoes though! I'm joking of course....the trick is to blend part A with Part B..the role of the mistress to be played by your wife! In a nut-shell..that's the difference
