No trust there. It shows that he has priorities to sort out and has his mind set on one thing.

He thinks you're his booty call. Glad to hear you have chosen not to seek him out. Stay as far away from this man as possible. I'm sure you did care for him at some point but all that went out the window when he dumped you. Do you want to appear pathetic. I think not. You're in control here not him.

My question to you is , "What does he have going for him that you can't find with someone else?". No one deserves to be treated like a booty call and dumped. He broke your heart and did not give a backward glance when he did it. Now that you are beginning to heal don't let him refresh that wound by hurting you again. You deserve better and a lot more respect. It's out there, and you will find it, be patient. You usually find it when you aren't looking.

I had a friend once that had this same dilemma. She decided to give the guy another chance and he dumped her again six months later. Second time around in relationships generally do not work as same issues will resurface again. I would protect my heart and not allow this guy a second time to stomp on it. Find someone else more deserving of your affections!!!!!!

Tell him how you feel the next time he calls. My ex-boyfriend did the same exact thing to me to. And now he wants to be back in my life. I find it easy to except his apology because of his puppy dog eyes but dont learn from me. Take care of yourself and be happy. A girl like you can do so much better. DOnt let a guy like this hurt you for the second time. Good Luck and if you need anything like a little bit more of a push email me

I would leave it in the past if he really care he would not have dumped you. your better off just forgetting about him and moving on with your life. If he was sorry for how he treat you and had realize the mistakes he made, he would have left a phone # and apologize.

No dont trust him, if its been a while that means something happened with someone else and he wants you back because hes finally realized, if he was a good man he would of came back the day after, or even not breaken up.

sweetie, don't you dare let this guy come back into your life and use you! you deserve so much better than this! you're doing the right thing by not trying to find him. this guy is obviously bad news, and you don't need him in your life. if he calls while you're at home, just tell him that you have absolutely no interest in him, and not to call you again. trust me, you will be much better off in the long run.
Take Care.

I'm really not sure, maybe he decided he really cares about you and wants to be with you, or maybe he just wants to use you as backup and walk all over you. That's a tough call, and I really do not know him. I guess if he calls again, answer and feel it out, if you feel his feelings are not for real, I would stay away. Much luck to you:)

The old saying goes If they do it once they will do it again. Definately no trust in that relationship! Dont put yourself out there like that to be hurt again!

Responding solely to the question...
Sure, I can trust someone that has dumped me, but ONLY if they hadnt betrayed my trust in the first place, and that I trusted them IMMEDIATELY after they dumped me.
If I didnt trust them then, what has changed ?
The history you provide seems to indicate he's someone you havent trusted, with potentially good reason, but you are the only one who knows the full of it.
So ask yourself, did he betray your trust ? If he did, then maybe its best you dont give him another chance...
as the saying goes... fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, shame on me.
