The only people who have asked me out were people I don't like. And the people I have liked were either way out of my league, or younger. Any hope?

so where to begin?
i've know this girl for 3 years, we HAD became pretty good friends, i liked her, and was pretty she she liked me too. i was nervous and afraid of her not liking me as more than friends, that i never asked her out. i was also afraid that it would ruin our friendship and i didn't want that either. she flirted with me often, and she isn't a very flirtatious person. she eventually got a boyfriend( he lived 60 miles away and was 5 years younger than her i knew it wouldn't last) they broke up about 3 days ago. so my question is should i ask her out? should i just continue to be her friend (we have since grown apart somewhat but are still friends) or what i am so lost and confused i have know idea what to do. she also used to act like she was into me then the next day act like she didn't even have time to say hi. please help

I have a friend named lacie and a friend named smitty. Today in school lacie was at her locker and smitty and i pushed her into it. She smashed her nose off the locker and started to cry. I come from a very dysfunctional family, probably out beats the Osbournes any day. I am 21 years old and have been living on my own since I was 15 years old. My mother up until 4 years ago, was addicted to the internet, and constantly conned people out of money, using stories about her kids being retarded and needing medical attention, thats not even half of it, but just something to let ya'll know what kind of person she is. She recently married a man that none of us children like, and she is pretty much putting us on the back burner for this man. He's physically abused me and one of my brothers, and she takes his side. She is always asking me and my fiance to borrow money, lying about situations to make me help her, and so much more. I told my mother today that I no longer wanted anything to do with her until she is out of that situation and no longer married to him. Am I wrong, or should I stick with the guns and keep her out of my life until shes normal again?

I'm almost 22yrs. old and I live half-way across the country wih my boyfriend. My parents don't care about me at all. They don't talk to me and my mom right now is stealing my identity for her own happiness. They have always made my life miserable. He seems to be interested in me very much. And I like him too. But recently I found out that he still holds on to the ring he had given to the woman he was engaged three years ago (she is married to someone else now). It puzzles me. He says he does not care for money to sell it. Why keep it? I would have thrown the damn thing away already! I am just not sure if he needs a light push in this direction to get over it or he is never going to get better. Advice?

Have known my girlfried for 1.5 years and have been dating for five months. Having been in more than a few relationships, I am positive that I have finally found the LOVE OF MY LIFETIME. It is open, honest and healthy. Issue is: she was previously married (for one year, he was unfaithful) and divorced two years ago. She is understandably afraid of love. I am struggling to show her that love is alive and well and am afraid she will ultimately be emotionally unavailable. Things couldn't be better currently, but I am thinking big picture. Any advice on getting her to recongnize what we have?

who do you think was the cause o f my break up here is the story me and my boyfriend was going out for 3 months and he broke up with me because he thought that i was cheating on him with his bestfriend whom i never met in my life his best friend told him that i was trying to get with him when i wasnt. My fiancee and I just got engaged and I'm excited about planning the wedding. I have decided on a small intimate wedding with a guest list of maybe forty people. My fiancee thinks that we shouldn't even plan a wedding, that it's a waste of money feeding people (family/friends) party favors etc., when we can use the money for our honeymoon. Last night we had an arguement. My wife is not very good at opening up or expressing herself very well. However, when I express something she says the same exact thing I say. Then, she says something else 10 minutes later that contradicts it. I don't understand what goes through her mind. Why is she so closed to herself. Her friends have expressed to her that she is very closed to herself and wishes that she would be more open with them.
