Situations like this are always complicated. Be sure of your feelings, I don't mean to patronize you but maybe this infatuation of yours is just that, a crush that will pass quickly. Unfortunately, life is not as sweet or exciting as it seems in movies. Things don't work out perfectly, so before you pour your soul out to this guy think what it could do to your friendship.

i dont think you can do it without some bit of fear or embarassment. i know when i did it i just sucked it up, said "**** it" and just went for it. my hands were shaking the whole time, and i felt so nervous, but now im engaged to this guy, so i guess it worked out. just muster every bit of courage you can find and go for it!

if he's really your friend and cares about you the way you care about him, he'd be ok with what you tell him. and even if he doesn't feel the same way about you, he'll still be your friend. it shouldn't be embarrasing, becuase he should be flattered that you like him as more than a friend.
