I'm almost 22yrs. old and I live half-way across the country wih my boyfriend. My parents don't care about me at all. They don't talk to me and my mom right now is stealing my identity for her own happiness. They have always made my life miserable. What should I do to find parents that would adopt me even at my age or atleast have someone to care about me like a father or mother?

First of all if your mom is stealing your identity then you need to press charges against her before your credit is so ruined you will not be able to get a pencil with out problems, also if you do not press charges now and she does something criminal using your name the warrant will be issued for you.

Second build a relationship with your Boy Friends parents go to church and build relationships there you don't need to be adopted at your age to know that people care. Good Luck

First, have your mother brought up on charges for stealing your identity. Second, You don't need anyone to adopt you. Make friends, they will fill the void you have. When you have a crummy family you just make your own. I did. My friends are more caring than my own family. I've known it since I was 16 and I am happy, and well cared for today by the friends that I have made through my life. It sucks when your own parents don't care about you but you can rise above it. Just do the best that you can and always treat others as you would like to be treated and you will find the love you need. Good luck.

Once you are over 18 you are no longer a minor and therefore can't be adopted to my knowledge. If your mum is stealing your identity you should notify the police.

Why don't you and your parents speak? Did you have a big arguement? or just got too busy and grew apart?
