Most guys don't like that so bad idea. Don't be jumping all over him , but don't be ignoring him either...find a happy medium

don't play games. casually ask him out. talk about this movie you want to see and if he's interested, ask him if he'd like to join you.
see if he bites. if not, he may only be interested in flirting. decide if this works for you or not. good luck.
