He seems to be interested in me very much. And I like him too. But recently I found out that he still holds on to the ring he had given to the woman he was engaged three years ago (she is married to someone else now). It puzzles me. He says he does not care for money to sell it. Why keep it? I would have thrown the damn thing away already! I am just not sure if he needs a light push in this direction to get over it or he is never going to get better. Advice?

Sounds to me like hes reminiscing on the past a bit. Give him something she couldn't and he will forget about her. If all else fails, just talk to him about it, and explain that you feel uncomfortable about it, I'm sure he will understand.

hi there do not worried just be his girlfriend maybe the ring is worth alot of money he said sell it so sell it . it's been 3 years what ever happened between them it must still hurt him it's call fear that the all thing might happened all over again . try to make him happy as his girl friend which is you . he has to move on with life we only live once and at times when we leave our homes to go to school or work we must pray cause maybe we never get back home. so enjoy each other while it last and do not let a ring get in between you both. be safe be well. let him kown how much you love and feel for him maybe he needs to hear it.

Maybe he really loved her, keeps it as sentimental value, a "hey i almost got married once." so what you would have thrown it away hes not you. I've kept something from each and every special person in my life, have a box full of memories to look back on. None of the stuff means too much, just have it for keep sake. If he seems into you, dont worry or read to much into it.

You can still love and respect someone even when relationships dont work out.

He may be still a little not over it and everything. I wouldnt confront him about it too much just ask him once and when he's looking at it just say, " Wow thats a beautiful ring! Why are you still holding on to it now?" He will get better just let your man have his space. Good Luck to the both of ya.

Oh dear this is a tuffy one! Well look at it this way...she is married so there is no chance of him getting back with her. On the other hand if he does carry any feeling for her or gives the ring some sentimental value I say he will eventually outgrow that. Simply if I were you I wouldn't worry about it!

Texting lets you control the tone and establish what kind of conversation you want to have. Learn here https://tr.im/t8rxg
This is probably the most important part. With texting, you can stop and think about what you want to say to your ex at each step of the way. Instead of reacting emotionally, you can take your time, figure out the right thing to say (I’ll give you most of it), and be strategic with your ex without saying something that you’ll regret.

if he carrys it around in his pocket i would be a little upset. but if it's in a shoebox some were in the back of the closet i wouldn't worry about it. if you get married or something i would then say ok it's time to sell

talk to him about it.
don't yell at him at first.
calmly talk to him.
ask him if he wishes they were still together.
try to work things out.
everything goes a way for a reason.
and hopefully this will be a good one.♥
