when me and him fight he always gets so mad at nothing. actually maybe its not nothing but i dont think he should get as mad as he should. He ha never ever hit me, he just sometimes bites me really hard if i ever hit him, kinda wierd but he says it makes him more calm when hes mad and im hurting him. Anyway he always used to punch stuff like walls doors, glass, and **** like that and i broke up with him over it. hes calmed down alot latley but now hes been starting tobeat himself up infront of me as a way to get out his anger. It really scares me alot because hes a pretty strong guy, and i know it hurts him. I broke up with him recently because of it and he always explains he wish he could stop and he trys but he just cant. i wanna take him back so bad im going crazy without him, and he wont stop crying and calling me and txting me, but i know its just gunahappen again and it scares me.. i dontwant him hurting himself. what do u think i should do???

I am 22 year old female who just graduated from a private university. My family seems fairly “upper middle class” but I know I am severely depressed as a result of the emotional abuse I suffered as a kid. My father was physically abusive to my mother and still is, and my mother is an alcoholic (she drinks every night, alone, hides bottles ect.) She wont leave, and doesn’t want to end her drinking. Like most children of alcoholics I am stuck feeling poorly about my self and I too don’t have the strength to leave. I also want to stay to make sure my 15 year old sister is alright. No one knows about this – and although I have a lot of friends – none of them know about this.

Family problem, please give advice?
My Aunt, Uncle and their two children never seem to have time to join the rest of the family in certain events, say oh like..birthday parties. They missed my wifes because of Tae Kwon Do class, they missed my Aunts because of a movie at a church. They are missing mine because of Tae Kwon do Class. And they are going to miss my Grandfather and my sons because of Tae Kwon do testing.
YES My Uncle has Money and his own business, He has done LOTS FOR ME. He has given me a job. He gave me $1000 one christmas, and My Aunt told me I shouldn't be complaining because I know that If I was ever in a bind they would be there for me in a heartbeat.
Am I asking too much, for them to participate in FAMILY celebrations??
Who is wrong here???
My mom is so angry with them she was crying on the phone today

My neighbours on one side keep themselves to themselves but are good neighbours.my other neighbours (our doors face each other)will do anything for us and visa versa.In fact ,my neighbours now ex wife, became my best freind 13 yrs ago,when i moved in,and still is although she doesnt still live their.And we still get on with her ex hubby and his new lady,wife,who do still live their.And the people around here are so freindly towards us.

My friends lately, have been saying "sorry" to me a lot recently.

Me and a friend have recently fallen apart, and now one of my friends is "sorry" for being friends with her.

My other friends (with the exception of one) know about some kind of secret involving someone I don't particularly like, and i don't know what it is, and to be honest I don't want to. And every time they talk about it they say SORRY. All the time.

I respect that I can't do things, and I can't say things, and I can't know things that they do, and I am completely truthful when I say I don't mind. But then they say SORRY. Over and over again. And it bugs the hell out of me.

Is there a way I can get them to stop saying sorry to me without being rude to them?

I love my friends dearly, but I am at breaking point here.

We've been dating since December and moved in together last weekend. I just realized that she has a bit of a drinking problem. She drinks wine gallons at a time and is usually drunk a few days out of the week. I've voiced my concerns and asked what was wrong. She says that going to poker night with me has reignited her drinking problem she used to have. She uses wine to deal with stress. She has a new job, a new boyfriend and now a new apartment and it's causing her to relapse and drink excessively. I really like this girl, I thought she was "the one" until I found this hidden truth. What can I do to help her short of moving out and ending the relationship?? She has a good job in the medical field, she comes from a good family, and the sex is great (when she's sober). I can't live with the slurred talking and staggering around the house every other day...it's getting old.

I have kinda asked this same question a few times on here in different ways and I havent gotten the answer I am looking for, Here is the dilema, I met this gurl on line in December (we are lesbians) And I was attracted to her instantly and she said the same, we talked on line and on the phone for a few weeks and things were great she told me she loved me right away and I believed her because I felt the same way. I wanted to take things slow cause I was scared she wouldnt like me as much when we actually met. She ended up in the hospital in New York City and I drove there from Vermont immediatley to see her. one of my guy friends met this new girl at our school. they have an army class ( i forget what type ) and they also have band together and i have band with both of them. every time i see them talking to each other i get totally mad at her. and i have no idea why. she just recenctly told me she has a crush on him, so i told her to go and ask him out ( holding in my anger ) i pretended like i cared. so she asked, but he said no ( i was sooo happy ), but they still hang out, and she still flirts and im tired of it. is this just jelousy? do i actually like my friend? im really confused. i think im just afraid of losing him to her.

I used to be best friends with this one girl, but then we stopped talking to each other for personal reasons.
