I used to be best friends with this one girl, but then we stopped talking to each other for personal reasons. I spoke with her in person over a year ago and we both agreed that her and I being friends wasn't really working out, so we left it off there. Now she's coming back to me and talking with me as if we were best friends again. I do respond nicely, but I've had to tell her time and time again that the friendship was over. Help??

Sounds like you might just have to get a little nasty.
If you are being nice and she just int getting the hint, perhaps you will have to change direction. Next time she approaches you stop her and say "Listen, I have told you numerous times, I dont want to be your friend, it doesnt work, and I dont want to hear your problems" then simply walk away from her. Dont even give her a chance to get a word in. Good luck with your 'stalker'.

Well, the gentleman thing to do is to be nice to this girl. A little manners and respect do go a long way there my friend. You felt a year ago she was worthy to be your best friend, well, if you speak to her in a civil manner she will understand.

the question is do you want to be friends with her or are you blowing her off because your used to doing that? People change maybe giving her another chance will help your friendship.

just tell her to leave you alone and you don't want to talk to her anymore. tell her you're over it and that's that.
honesty is an awesome policy. if you just keep pretending everything is ok, you'll just surround yourself with negative energy. and that is no good. i hope the best for you. :)
