In my school the definition for nerd is me. All the guys talk to me, but its only cause they make fun of me. should i laugh at myself or them?

A guy I know says that a nerd is a dork with social skills (j/k).
Sweetie, I'm not sure what's going on from your description, but there's a real difference between having a good sense of humor about yourself and allowing others to treat you badly. You DO NOT have to cooperate with people who make you feel bad about yourself. If you have a group of friends or family members who support you, make sure you're depending on them to bolster you when you've had a bad day. Also, finding an interest (photography, sports, etc.) goes a long way toward making you an interesting, confident person!

People seem to get nerd , geek and dork confused. Here is an easy way to tell....
Nerds prefer to study as opposed to socializing. Thats it. They dont have to be smart. They just have to prefer studying.

A nerd is someone who is into things that people consider "uncool". And not into things that people consider "cool". This includes fashionable clothes

Honey....when life rains on your parade, its not about going home, its about bringin out the slip and slide. Dont be put down your still young. I was always made fun of but now i'm the only one with a boyfriend out of all my friends! Hes not nerdy either hes hot and everyone is jealous!

a nerd is someone who goes to star trek conventions, laugh with them for now, when your'e older and smokin hot you can laugh at them when they want to get with you.
