I sure wouldn't stick with you. If he does, he's a much more forgiving man than I.

That depends on what you feel is best for your relationship.
Personally, I think that if you only slept with this other guy because your judgement was way too impaired by the alcohol, you have a good chance of moving on from it.
However, you really need to look into why you cheated. If it wasn't just the alcohol, then you need to think about how likely you are to do it again, and if you regret what you did. If you regret it for sure, then start to move on together. But if you think that something's missing from your relationship, then you need to discuss it with your boyfriend.
This also depends on your age. If you're in high school or college, chances are you need to just move on. There are seriously so many other fish in the sea. You probably slept with the other guy because on some level you wanted a different sexual experience. But if you're older and have invested a lot in the relationship, and have had previous sexual partners, that's a different story.
Things like this happen, so you certainly can't beat yourself up over it. Just think about the basics: Did you do this for a reason that you didn't realize at the time, or was it really just a stupid mistake that you wish never happened?

So maybe that's why people shouldn't drink, after all it impairs decision making abilities. But I think it is very commendable that you were honest (not very loyal, but you were drunk) As far as what you should do, I don't think that's your decision, you're sorry, you've told your bf and now you're going to have to live with your actions and part of that might be not having your bf...but that's his decision right? He can either handle the truth and live with it or not. Either way, maybe both of you have learned that trust in another person is fragile.

Well, how bad would it be if he cheated on you? You have to tell him the truth and hope he forgives you for doing it. If you don't, you will always feel guilty about it and eventually the truth will come out. It would be better for you to tell him and explain it then for him to hear it from someone else.

Hang in there and work on making things right. Think out what is really important to you. Expect problems and accept responsibility. Good luck!

First off, getting drunk isn't smart, look at what happened. Second, if you can't stay commited to the one you love, you shouldn't comit yourself to anyone.
